Kaitlyn Bristowe - Shawn Booth - Bachelorette 11 - #2 - Discussion

They've always seemed uninterested in Des/Chris as a couple but for whatever reason have still extended invites to them all along (ATFR specials, Rose Bowl Parade, Millionaire taping, Suave & McDs commercials). I'm surprised K/S don't at least get brought out even if they're not going to highlight them in anyway (a la Des/Chris).

If I had to guess here is what o think might have happened. When Andi/Josh appeared on the live red carpet and then broke up in a matter of days I think TPTB feel like they got some egg on their face. Now maybe they didn't ask Kaitlyn/Shawn because they aren't confident they will even be together when the commercial(s) sent to air. This way TPTB can run the commercial with the past people without problems because the relationship status of those couples won't be changing. If they had Kaitlyn/Shawn and they broke up they would either have to not air the commercial, unlikely since a lot of work went into it, or deal with the comments about it airing with a broken up couple.

Stranger theories have happened.

I don't know if it was necessarily because of that, because they did pick her for Family Feud, when they could have given that to Chris Soules or Andi or another one of their faves. And, Kaitlyn didn't do anything that past leads have done and have been practically rewarded for - Bob slept with at least 5 in cars and bathrooms and got asked to host Bachelor reruns on ABCFam; Deanna didn't care about anyone but Graham, but still got asked for appearances afterwards. I think the show just started hating her because of the snap chat leak, which is totally understandable, but again, not really something new since Josh/Andi had their SC faves list leaked, Nick had the phone call, etc. Who knows what their standards are, when their favorites include Michelle Money and Chris Soules?

The snap chat leak was on a whole different level. I think it made national news. I am surprised she wasn't fined. I don't think there has been a bridge on that level before, so, yes, IMO, that is why they are not best buddies with tptb.

Imo if tptb asked them . I am sure they will say yes . I mean why would they say no? even let say they are not really cordial to each other in reality , pretty sure they will agree to do it. That is why the feeling is more stronger that they haven't asked them.

Didn't Nick's airplane phone call make all the major entertainment news shows and sites also? I think that Kaitlyn's SC-goof was more of a major mistake, because a) it ruined their "spoilers were wrong!" shocker and b) it was indisputable. With Nick's phone call, you could argue it was staged. With Josh being on Andi's favorites on SC, SC just wasn't that popular back then and it wasn't a slam dunk. Other couples have been careless too, with Sean bringing Catherine to Dallas and going to the movies with her or Ben going to Courtney's house in AZ. They just didn't get caught. I think that more goofs like this are going to happen in the future, with SM becoming so popular. I heard that Ben sent snaps to his friends during filming, so obviously, they don't care enough to stop their leads from doing it.

And that's all that matters that they are happy with each other which it looks like they are; that's why I am a fan of love and happiness. As long as you are happy and own up to who you are, then, do you.

But, that's just it....they don't own up to who they are. She wants to be known as this anti-bullying crusader but she rags on those who dare criticize her/them...even if it is mild and constructive. Instead she plays the victim as if everyone is against her/them and they played no part in why they are criticized. (Forget about the fact that while she says she is all about the cause, she has done absolutely nothing to promote it other than to whine about the treatment she got in interviews.) Then there is Shawn's rant after movember...just as a few people were congratulating him for doing something philanthropic and starting to give him the benefit of the doubt.

To me they bring out the worst in each other. If they are happy, good for them. They deserve one another. It will stop them from sucking the life out of anyone else.

She probably from too much maternal spoiling and self-destructive inebriation and him from--well--he appears to be dropped on his head once too often, maybe he varsity'ed in jumping from roof on head. (at least jr varsity level)
Put the two of them together and maybe they equal an IQ of 100. The only reason they aren't called out on it more often is they pass the nice appearance test. If you look nice you can be forgiven for more.
