Exactly. He would have and should have denied it if she was lying. I could also do without the fake wishes. He said he's praying for her happiness and peace. Like really??? Can't get more fake than that.

He doesn't have to deny anything. The best thing he could do is exactly what he's doing. I applaud him for his comments thus far. Andi is bashing everyone, Juan, Nick, Josh. It's best to sit back and watch her implode. What a B!

When someone spreads lies about you, you can give them a lot of your time, effort and emotion disputing it and falling to their level. Or you can rise above and refuse to comment and even wish them well. When someone is toxic and hateful, IMO, rise above. In the long run you will come out looking better and feeling better and you win by denying them your anger and hatred which is what they usually really want.

I say good for you Josh. Wish the toxic whorebeast well and unlike me, don't call her that and move on.

But this is not like is a normal lie that is spread between friends Stuck. This is what Andi said on a magazine, where thousands and thousands of people will read about Josh, across the county, world that has spread to others sites. This is not a light situation, if Andi lied I would think Josh would have said something because this would damage his reputation, him taking the high road shows that what she said is the truth and can't deny it.

But by denying, he gets stuck in a he said/she said situation. He can not win. At best he comes out with maybe 50% thinking he is telling the truth.

By not specifically addressing anything, he basically doesn't give weight to anything she said. By meeting her toxic lies (IMO) with wishes for her well being and hopes for her future he declares the whole book to be something not worth justifying. I the end that makes him the winner in my book.

^^^^^^^^^^^ Exactly, Stucki. By Josh addressing any of the specifics, then it turns into just stirring more crap and giving her more attention in the media, which is what she wants. It looks like 1,25 & 26 are not going to take her baiting to turn it into more of a debacle then it already is. My granny used to says "empty barrels make the most noise", now that's the dang truth with MeAndi.

IMO, speaking up to actually acknowledge what was specifically said or denying it would only open a can of worms that would turn into an ugly he said, she said never ending battle.  While it does make him look somewhat guilty of saying it by not refuting it, the last thing I'd want to do after getting out of such a bad relationship was step back into the battle zone with the ex.  It seems apparent she's ok playing dirty and exposing all.  Best to leave it alone, IMO.

I could see him actually saying those words in an argument.  They are not words I personally would want my guy saying about me.  But I guarantee they'd only be said once because that'd be the end of the relationship for me.  If Josh actually said them, I'm sure some nasty comments were aimed at him as well.  Not that that would justify his use of the words, but we're only hearing her poor, woe is me, I'm the victim here side.  JMO.

ETA: now if he over shares on his upcoming reality show, I will have no problem saying and thinking he's as yucky as she is for going there.

But I bolded the first part because sometimes the sound of silence makes the most pronounced statement. I am so glad he is taking this stance and applaud him. I hope he continues to do so. 
I know it can sound sanctimonious, but when I'm on the outs with someone else, I will pray for them. Even if part of me says:"I'm gonna pray for that son of a biotch".  Being able to forgive and move on is the best.

If Josh sits back and takes all of this with a grain of salt he could come out further ahead. All she's doing is bringing him back out into the public eye again, right before his show comes out, more people will likely tune into it to see if he talks about her. She's going to be unemployed undateable and unliked while he grows more famous again.
You know she'll be glued to the tv watching his show too because clearly she can't Move on

The producers of famously single probably picked him to be on the show to coincide with her book release

... and don't forget with a glass (bottle) of wine cause that cures everything. His filming is already done, and I really hope he didn't "go there". I applaud him now for not getting into the he said/she said. I hope Nick and JPG do too. I'm sure that will drive her nuts if none of them flips out. I don't like what Josh allegedly said to her, but I'm sure she gave it to him also. After she said he called her that name, I was waiting for a response from him such as "if the shoe fits", but he's kept cool.
