As an example, Sean did not. Ali did not. Des did not. The producers can't force this. They still have a right to choose. If Josh had become bachelor, he wouldn't have either. JMOAA
Ali did.
As far as what the Murray family endorses or not, there is a blip out there with a corresponding photo showing the brother in the midst of an adventure with other people in the same room. So I doubt chastity is something practiced.

Ali did not. According to her interview of Feb. 6, 2013, with adrinkwith.com Ali plainly stated that she slept with Roberto. Chris was a friend and Frank left.

As for Josh, it's one thing to be intimate in a relationship. It's another thing to have sex with a guy in order to trick him. Big difference.
My bad, I read your original post to read she had not had sex at all. I knew she had sex with Roberto, thus my response.

According to Andi (so yeah, big grain of salt) he told her she better not have slept with Nick or she wouldn't have a fiancé or something along those lines. So she felt compelled to lie. Supposedly.

I'm not defending Andi here. I think both she and Josh mostly suck, if I'm being honest.

If he said that right there and then I would have walk right up to him and told him the truth.  Along with telling him to decide if he want to stay engage or leave.  Lying to keep a man is not a good move, she was exploring all relationship once the relationship steps to an engagement then that is different in my eyes because the real relationship starts there.  She waited until 2 weeks before the fantasy date air to tell him she sleep with Nick bad move and a manipulation choice too.

Say what you will, but the bachelorette that comes after her own her poop before the show was over right there and then, only she made it look like #25 who was the one who push her to it when we all see that as untrue.  Both bachelorette 10 and 11 are trash, they blame any and everybody for their flipping bad behaviour. At least #11 seems to be moving on,  I just wish #10  would do something worth while with her life other than being a bitter bitch.  Damn it gets tiring.

One thing I respect bachelorette #9 for is she layed everything out for her final 1 before an engagement so he make his choice knowing what did in deed happen, how she was feeling throughout the experiment and how she reach her final decision. She is 100 steps above #10

My number one rule with my kids: DO NOT LIE TO ME!  To me, regardless of the circumstances or how mad I might get about something they did, nothing will make me more angry than them lying to me about it.  In my eyes it's always best to be honest and upfront and let the chips fall where they may. Lying always comes back to bite you in the a**.   Had she told Josh when it first came up that, yes, she slept with Nick and these were her reasons, he would have still been hurt and pissed but he may have gotten over it after thinking it through. She didn't give him that chance and instead broke a major trust that would be incredibly tough to overcome.  If you lie once about something, it's pretty darn easy to lie again. It's tough to build a solid relationship with that hanging over your head.

IMO the first few months ATFR they were happy and we saw plenty of pictures that prove that. I think Josh never could fully get over it and would bring it up when they had arguments. I also think there were other sources that would not let him forget either.

It was a private email I got from a friend. But believe me from what I read it's not all bad and it did bring tears to my eyes when I read how they ended it. It was sad for both of them.

Breakup mostly are sad, regardless who is the couple and what is the circumstance. But for these two, they actually made it even worse themselves, becuase of their huge ego and stubborness. On top of that, they both fell for the "idea" of being in love. They are the ones to blame, not anyone else.

I agree, Peggy. Everyone is responsible for their own relationship. If the relationship is worth anything, then outside factors won't make any difference. It was her fault she lied and it was his fault if he couldn't get past it. However even if she had been honest from the beginning and even if he had gotten over it, I still think this relationship would've crashed and burned though perhaps not as badly. Unlike K&S whose personalities complement each other, I just think A&J were too much alike and they would've always butted heads over something. It's sad and unfortunate it's become this ugly and how much disdain they both have for the other. As much as I didn't care for CS at the time, I think he had the right idea of not wanting to talk about his and Whit's breakup unless they were both present.

Ali did say flat out that she would have slept with Frank if he didn't leave. I bet Des would have slept with Brooks if he didn't leave. So those are completely different circumstances. Had Nick left, obviously Andi wouldn't have slept with him.

Although Josh's need to have some "virginal" woman would explain his gross habit of dating women who are barely out of their teens....

I don't think #26 has a need for a "virginal" woman at all. I really just think he's emotionally younger than his age and that's why he prefers younger women. I don't think it has anything to do with any creepy desire. Besides all the women he has dated have been adults. Sorry but women in their early 20's are not children and shouldn't be infantilized.
