I saw Josh commented on her new IG pic that "he's ready for round 2" no no

no no no no He does realize that his little girlfriend probably has school right.
Maybe her daddy-boyfriend can write her teacher a note to get her excused so she can come play and eat some yummy ice cream and watch Inside Out in bed way past her bedtime yes yes

If she is really going on her mission and is practicing Mormon, this relationship is D.O.A. unless Josh converts.  While her parents might look away if a 31 yr old Mormon dated their daughter, they sure as heck are not going to want their virgin daughter to date a 31 yr old  non Mormon man.

She is a beautiful young lady and model. I can't imagine why she would want to date Josh unless it's for a hopeful career boost. The pictures on her Twitter account are pretty darn wholesome with her friends. What's funny is one of my oldest and dearest friends is a Mormon originally from SLC Utah and her first dates with her husband always included going for ice cream!!

I'm thinking it could be a career decision too. I can't understand why she would want to date him. I'm sure there are a lot of nice guys her age who might want to date her.
On another note, Josh always said he wanted kids. Does dating a kid count?

I am a parent of a 20 year old daughter and she definitely has an opinion about things and speaks her mind and can hold her own, but as far as I know, from all the discussions I've had with her, she would never consider dating a man 11 years her senior at this stage in her life. Is a 31 year old man going to hang out with a bunch of 20 yearolds? Girls that age usually have groups of friends that they hang out with and they can act very silly and immature in big groups. That would get old very fast for a grown man. I would also not condone that kind of relationship simply because I would question the intentions of any man of that age wanting to get involved in a relationship with a young girl who is underage. JMO from my experience as a mom with a daughter Hannah's age.

Well it sounds like we are in a similar place.  As the mother of a 21yr. old, I would also struggle with the idea of my daughter dating someone that much older.  But the point that I was defending is that a 20yr. old should not be assumed to be a doormat or having no opinion. You're a mom of one, so you get it.

I think it's always easier to control younger girls and a relationship between Josh and that little girl is not a relationship between equals. He clearly has more power. I also feel like Josh and his family are looking for a doormat who treats them like royalty and goes along with whatever they say and it doesn't matter whether it's this little girl or another older girl, he wants a girl without an opinion.
I hope he realizes that this girl may not be the same person in a few years. She's still growing up.

I don't think he wants a girl without an opinion or a girl that's a doormat. I still think he's attracted to feisty, but also kind. I do understand some of your other points though. I'm just trying to understand the connection and would like to give Josh the benefit of the doubt here. But that's becoming more and more difficult in this situation.

The connection is that looking at her makes Josh's nether regions tingle and she finds Josh exciting because he's famous.

She could like his smile, too. They both have similar smiles.

Age differences run in my family, from my great grandparents to me. My sister married her husband when she was 20, he was 31; my husband is 11 years younger than I am, my great grandmother was 11 years older than her husband; my grandmother was 20 years older than her second husband (twice a widow, outlived both husbands), my MIL is 17 years younger than her husband, I could go on, but you get my drift. All very successful and happy marriages.

So I can't relate to the age difference debate. It's the people that count, not their ages, imo.

I hope I am not getting it twisted, but the 2 occassion that Josh and TOG went to a bachelor realated event he brought a young thing is this a sign of insecurity? because of what happen on the show, because I dont believe Josh ever for gives ex girlfriend for what happen with TOG on the show just a thought.  Dating a 20 yr at this time of his life is not a good idea it just seems wrong, unless of course he has the same menttality of a 20 yr old.  I always read that some men act like 20 yr old at 30 yrs old.
