I sometimes wonder if Whit was paid to be F1 like someone posted last year who claimed they knew her personally.
Not that I care if so, just that if she was, good for her for going back to her real life.

I never heard that rumor, but I wonder if that is the earth shattering info that person (forgot the name) tweeted they had that would make people not want to watch the Bachelor anymore. In hind sight, it kind of makes sense. He said in an interview it was "technically" an engagement. Hmm...I wonder. But I also believe her about the FS. I think she would own it if they had had sex.

Yeah they posted about it and I remember getting some details on it. A lot of it was plausible to me and honestly, I could see it happening with someone like CS and a "back up" just in case he never got someone to move to Iowa (b/c honestly, none of those girls were going to, including Whit, imo). That along with CS being someone who seemed to only want to get $$$$ and go on DWTS for more $$$$ it wouldn't surprise me if their relationship was rigged a bit. The whole thing seemed staged to me and I never saw much of a connection at all even though the dates made it seem that way it felt like it was planned (I recall the wedding and the bride posting that she was contacted months before filming and Whit being "spontaneous" etc and the bride had to take that post down). The mural also seemed to be F1 but when watching, I didn't see CS acting like she was his F1 at all so the dates never matched the feelings, imo. Anyway, I don't hold it against her if so. She did her thing either way and seems to be happy now and moved on so good for her.

If you didn't listen...when she's talking about the Fantasy Suite he didn't specifically ask if she did have sex...he asked, in general how many people the lead has sex with on the show. She states that she's the wrong person to ask because she never thought that it was just expected that anyone that went to the FS has sex. States that she was talking to Becca about it and that she must be incredibly naïve because she never thought that it was just expected but that obviously that's what most people think. Then the guy interviewing says he's wondering how the girls talk and what most of the girls think and she says she can only speak for herself and that it wasn't her expectation because she didn't and obviously it wasn't Becca's because you all know her story, but I think a lot of people do think that.

To me, that seems like a fairly honest answer.

Part 2 Tidbits:

What's next for her? Focused on her career, in a really good place with relationship...but in the next 5 years hopes to be married and ready to start a family.

Then they talked about Making a Murderer for awhile and then she signed off. All in all, a pretty good interview. Nothing earth shattering for news, she just seems like she's genuinely happy. She continues to be one of my favorites from the show because she seems very REAL.

I doubt very much Whitney was paid to go on the show. For one thing, she had no need to move to L.A. because she had a built in excuse with her work. I think she did fall for Chris but knew pretty fast he wasn't the guy she thought he was once she was out of the bachelor bubble. 2nd, I know Chris S wasn't exactly Mr Smooth but they knew he'd find someone to propose to so why in the world would they pay someone when they didn't have to?

IA bean, I doubt she got paid to be the F1. She has proven she is a classy woman with morals. She supported him through the whole fiasco, like a lady, as if she was really trying to give it a chance. She gave up a lot IMO compared to him.

Post show, we can tell who is in it for fame, and who quietly goes back to normal life. IMO Whitney went back to her life, graciously.

ITA Bean and GA.  Whitney is a class act all the way.  No need for her to have been paid as a fake F1.  Unlike so many in this Franchise she returned to her RL, real job and acted with absolute class following her CS train wreck.  IMO CS was lucky to have had Whitney in his life.  Good luck to him finding someone better.  JMO

Yeah, I'm not getting a paid for vibe from them either. Just your usual mismatched, barely-knew-each-other couple with a side of Bachelor-itis gone wrong.

I know have people speculate but I haven't seen anything that showed that this was anything other than a normal engagement on the show. Everyone's personality is different and not all the OTT happy couples really were happy.

I don't think she was paid to be his F1, though the thought has certainly crossed my mind. However, I do think they'd already broken up or at the very least had serious issues before ATFR. I think she kept up the pretense so Chris could be on DWTS and I doubt she did it out of the goodness of her heart only.

Whit is pure class. Farmer douche used and abused her,she takes the high road and won't trash him, and has moved on with her new love. I love her

I agree. There was that youtuber who was in the audience for a March DWTS performance and she said that Chris/Whitney looked like they were already broken up or, at the very least, on very bad terms.

I wonder if there is a contract that you have to stay together until the AFTR or even DWTS? There have been couples who admit to breaking up between filming/ATFR, like Ben/Courtney and Brad/Emily, but they always got back together by the ATFR. In the earlier years of the show, it was so common to see couples break up before the ATFR so I wonder if they put something in place to make the show appear more successful. I really hope one of them writes a tell-all or something one day. They had such a bizarre relationship - I never saw any chemistry during the show, Chris seemed to hate her during DTWS, and now they are so secretive about the breakup. It's weird.
