I would love to know why Jubilee decided to be on this show? She just seemed so out of her element most of the time, I guess experiencing it is a different story and the environment got to her.

Also Nick was on Afterbuzz tv, he said quite some interesting things about what happened and was quite nice about Jubilee. I completely agreed with his thoughts.

I had high hopes for Jubilee and wanted her to succeed and be a viable candidate for the next bette but she will probably get invited to be on BIP instead.  It is too bad we didn't get to see all of her bubbly side as she is an impressive woman IRL.  I hope she realizes that she is a lovable woman and eventually finds her true love.

My impression of Jubilee, at least from the edit, is that she was wanting Ben to in a sense "chase her", to pursue her, rather than the other way around.  She kept asking him if he even saw her - did she stand out in that crowd at all?  And, when Ben would invite some of the other women to go have a talk with him (and in her mind overlook her), Jubilee seemed to shut down and sulk instead.

The sad part is that Ben was "seeing" Jubilee.  He had said in one of his ITMs that he wanted to see how all of the women interacted on group dates, to see if they were having fun and enjoying whatever was thrown at them.  And Jubilee did not seem to do well in those group settings. Ben seemed to gravitate toward the women who were the most outgoing and/or the most fun to be around....plus those that he was the most physically attracted to. But Jubilee kept shooting herself in the foot with her moodiness and inability to go with the flow.

Plus I do think that she was picking up on who among the other women there were getting more of Ben's attention, like SQT and such.  And that only added to her insecurities.  That setting was definitely not a good environment for her, and quite honestly, I don't see BIP being any better either.

He was spot on on his assessment of jubilee! He said that she had a lot more foresight than others, didn't just play the game to stick around longer like most, and wasn't afraid to be direct and ask Ben about his feelings, which most contestants couldn't do. Thats why I don't blame her at all for pulling away - she was just protecting herself from what she knew was coming. She wasn't being insecure, just perceptive. He had forgotten about her and was focused on Lauren and Jojo.

Exactly, also him mentioning how some people are just like well I am going to stick around until I am kicked off and Jubilee probably didnt want that.
Also it was nice to get his prespective on the group date as he said he was quite similar to Jubilee when it came to group dates they are very awkward.

Sad I think Jubes has soooo much going for her but she does seem to have some insecurity demons, and this show was just the worst place for her to be:

Not usually a Becca fan but she nailed this one: Jubilee just doesn't seem to realize
how much she has to offer and sadly this show certainly didn't help.

Hope she goes back to RL where the people who really know and love her can help her have the confidence she deserves for who she is.

Longhornfan and notthatgirl, excellent posts. Way to go Nick, too! I think that exchange between Ben and Jubs was one of this season's "real" moments captured on tape. Who knew that Higgs could get angry?

Jubilee does remain a favorite of mine--so raw, honest, and real. That sass!

I'd still love to see her as Bette. Being in charge may instill a sense of confidence in her since she gets to choose the guy that she wants.

I feel for Jubilee. She just wants to be loved, to be accepted. I notice she has walls up and it will take a special person to tear them down...and yes, Becca nailed it. She has great compassion for people, I believe.
