IMO Ben does the tongue sticking when he is genuinely happy. It appears to me that its a tactic to suppress a big grin. They look good together and Lauren seems very comfortable.

I was finally able to watch Ben's audition, and I've come to the conclusion that he's just too damn cute (though he's always been... But now hearing him talk more just solidified that thought even more.) I love how passionate he is about kids and helping others. I really hope we get to see that side of him this season. We heard quite a bit about it on Kaitlyns season, so hopefully we'll get to see it in action on a season that's supposed to be all about him.

Ben did that "tongue out" thing with Amanda too, so I don't really know if it's an indication of anything. I think it's just one of his mannerisms.

I loved the audition tape! I don't really know much about him, so it was cool to hear about his teaching children in Peru, the whole "finding a bag of cocaine at age 15" story, how he had planned on doing sports in college. and even him talking about his ex. I feel like I know him better now than I did all of last season!

Ben does the tongue thing all the time. Someone even made a collage of all the times he did it on Kaitlyns season. It's just a mannerism along with having his hands in his pockets.

When they were at the carnival in Warsaw. I think it was seen in the video. Amanda was riding Ben horseback. Ben stuck his tongue out and a girl watching him laughed. JMO

Here is the tongue collage. This happened all the time last season. I really don't think it has any significance. Same with the hand(s) in pocket.

Thanks for that. Sorry that's not the tongue expression I'm referring to. It's different from those. It's the one he's doing with Lauren. Usually when he is happy or smiling.

I love Ben dearly, but the man has a lot of 'habits', and they are easily noticeable imo. He's going to be doing a lot of these things on the show this season: saying 'uhm', licking his lips, sticking his tongue out, putting his hands in his pockets, holding a girls shoulder while kissing her (he did this a lot with Kaitlyn AND Amanda), tripping over his words at times. Those are the main 'habits' that I can remember at the top of my head.
