Joelle Fletcher - (JoJo) - Bachelor 20 - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

I have a feeling that the "whole picture" regarding JoJo is just going to be the physical connection (preview of their fantasy date indicates this) and trying to see if there is more - and that will be it.

I think it is just because Ben really did know who he wanted as his F1 very early on and the only thing then he could do with his F2 or anyone else is explore some physical stuff or talk to the girls like he's their therapist. Because that's all I have seen with any of the girls other than Lauren B - Ben only talks with Lauren B in terms of "We/us" and everyone else he is their self-help guru and/or girls that he just makes out with.

I often find that when the lead has a really strong connection to one contestant, the season is over edited and the drama and crazy are OTT...even more so than usual! They have to do something to hide/take away attention from the obvious. Sucks, but as we get further on there will be less crazy people to show and then they will show more of the connection to F2 and F3 to create more doubt about F1.

I read somewhere, (I think in Ben's blog) that the date that Ben and JoJo were supposed to have in the Helicopter, had to be cancelled because of weather. So they spent the first part of their date in the Casino.  It is possible that they did not have permission to film in the Casino. snipped..  

Yes it's been discussed in this thread their date was cancelled due to weather. I don't know about Vegas, but the casino's in my area, do not allow filming of any kind on the gaming floor.

Same in the USA. Legal issues.

Very true. Regarding the lack of JoJo, for all of the passion that supposedly is there, they seemed a bit awkward/uncomfortable during their conversations. Ben was very physically affectionate with her yet their words to each other rang familiar for me, like I'd heard a variation of them on past seasons.

I am also struggling to believe that JoJo is interested in Ben. I think that she wants to feel something for him, yet I'm not entirely sure that she does. Maybe it's just too early for her.

Overall, very refreshing personality.

I agree with you VO. I didn't see all the connection and chemistry that everyone saw when they were on the rooftop. I think the last episode really showed us where she was at, feelings wise. She (as well as Ben, from his blog) knew at that time, all they had was a physical connection. It remains to be seen if the editing shows them getting into a deeper realm. Which they probably did.

Thanks for clarifying , GA. I did not know that this was a legal issue. Also this was discussed up thread...oops... I still really like both JoJo and Ben, but do not see a forever match, I do see that they could be good friends. I think JoJo is a very good character on this show. She has a fun sense of herself and the show and is very enjoyable to watch.

Hi, lady Glad to have a compatriot in perception. Maybe she and Becca bonded somewhat over needing to coax feelings for someone. JoJo reflected on this idea a bit during her "chat" with Caila in episode 3--something about "forcing feelings."

She'll be interesting to follow this season to see if she really does fall in love with Ben.

IA. I don't think she is that into him other than just physical stuff.

One of the reasons I say this is not just based on what was shown on this episode or even the preview for her FD but that photo of them all in the airport. JoJo looked bored out of her mind there and not looking at Ben. Sure it could be just a snapshot window of time but considering if Ben did fall for Lauren early on I could see JoJo already backing out. Plus, Ben is not really her type if her ex-bf is anything to go by and 5 months out of a relationship is not that much time, especially if there were cheating issues.

Having a F2 who is not as invested emotionally is actually a good thing and maybe why she was F2 because she and Ben could sell the physical really well but also Ben letting her go won't seem that cruel since it can be seen that she still "wasn't ready" for marriage after her breakup, etc.

Such a good point! If this rumor is true that Ben was decided by mid-season on Lauren, then it was actually kind of him and the show to arrange the final girls as he did from F5-F2.

We'll see!

She never said anything about 'forcing feelings'... She said "its hard to fake your feelings.."

We also saw some foreshadowing this episode, where she told Olivia, "I'd never say 'I love you' unless I felt it was reciprocated"...and in the season preview, what does she say? She says 'I love you' to Ben...

Lace said that while on the show, JoJo was the one that liked Ben the most.. So, I'm thinking she DID like him more than just physical stuff.

I'm guessing this is true, but WAAAAY back during Trista's season that there was a group date where they went to Vegas and to a casino and they showed at least part of them inside (and then creepy Russ took Trista away back to the hotel room). But it's possible that they had the permissions ahead of time for that, but since it was a last-minute change, they weren't able to get them for JoJo's date.
