Especially the part where Wippa changes his choice from Sasha to Michael to Sasha then to Richie.

When I heard the part where sam likes to bag out her F1, that reminded me of this interview she did with fitzy and wippa

I found it interesting that they mentioned something about Channel 10 and getting Sam to do the live-watching of the date. I think it only solidifies that Richie is not F1 and that Sasha is F1.

I think what happened was that Sam was blown away by Richie on her date with him and that's when it all became "real". She realized what she wanted and Richie had all of that. Thus, her saying to Richie "you're perfect". And then what I think happened was she went to production and said she needs to see if what she has with Sasha is more than just physical, if she can see in him what she sees in Richie. And so a second date for Sasha who was probably prodded by production and told to 'tell her how you feel' and so Sasha tells Sam he is falling for her and wouldn't be there if he wasn't. And so Sam feels reassured with Sasha (because she didn't before on their SD... she asked him and even told him that if he didn't see it with her to be honest) and with Richie she already knows that Richie will "Stick by me through thick and thin" and loyalty is the biggie for Sam (as she said in her Q&A video) and she knows she will have that with Richie. So her 2nd date she gets to hear out Sasha and sees that he can be more than just physical to her she gets that reassurance and has both -- the physical and the loyalty and goes with Sasha to tell him she "loves him so much" at the end. No one else in that time-frame can get to that type of declaration, IMO, other than Sasha since his SD he tells her he is falling for her. So to me, Richie was a catalyst for her, what she wanted but not as physical type as much as Sasha so she made sure she would get what Richie was offering from Sasha too... double win for her.

Just how I see it...

@ElonM Much to my dismay, if so. TBT I try to never let my bias for a fave of mine get in the way of sleuthing F1.

I really do watch this show for 2 reasons:
1) to sleuth F1
2) to see if there is someone I like/resonate with
Sometimes these two things align (so F1 is my fave) and sometimes not. And it's only been with Art and Matilda's season that those 2 things ever aligned for me.

Honestly, I do think Richie is Art to his possible Matilda but I don't think Sam is like Matilda enough to want to grow with someone as much as have that person lead/chase her. Because Richie is too shy to chase. She had to grab him to kiss her while he was still chatting away nervously. I think she just wants a guy who will lead more. Sasha is that person, imo. Just imagine Art as a contestant for Matilda as Bachelorette? He was sooo shy with her even as a lead. So I think the dynamic of this show where the alpha and physical first attraction is what is seen most goes furtherest. I have yet to see on Bette shows where the alpha doesn't get to be F1 most of the time. The social experiment of Bette almost lends itself to that happening, imo.

AAL, I agree it looks like Sasha as F1. Des's final 3, none of them were Alpha males. I do think it's driven by the bachelorette's preferences.

I guess I should state alpha as in the person chasing most, not necessarily alpha as in type of male. Out of even Des's F3, the one who chased her most was Chris even though he wasn't an alpha in personality type. Then there are always the girls who prefer to chase and that never ends well it seems.

Sam was half gone the moment she met Sasha. Their chemistry was evident hence all she had to do was figure out the connection (fun, easing going, humorous etc).

The mere fact that Michael is yet to get a SD is an eye opener. Richie was the other person she had a connection with and I think this was after weeks in the mansion.

At this moment, I don't see how Michael can be F1. At the end of the season preview she said she's in love.  That person is either Richie or Sasha. jmo

BTW, Sasha is the only person at this moment I see that can go 6 rounds with Sam. That's a lot for one man! :cutesmile!:

I think that look she gives Sasha on the painting date as he paints her face that we have seen in the previews is a look of clarity and love. I do think they are going through something tough, maybe a difficult conversation in that screencap we see of them on the boat/balloon
