Even if Becca thought Ben was kidding, it's just tacky returning (Amber included) unless you think the lead wants you there for some reason. And even then, it's not the best option. I also couldn't imagine standing up his friend from the season (Jared), and then facing him with the possibility that he might know or that he'd find out later... how do people do this? Ben-So I hear you were about to go on a date with Jared? Becca-Yea, but a better opportunity presented itself. Oh how cute. Where is the conscience? I know it's not like she did anything horrendous but things start adding up, and if Ben falls for it, I might have to give up.

As if it couldn't get any more awkward, he ASKED her not to show up? I mean, kudos for the honesty, I didn't think he had it in him.

Why not? Ben seems like a pretty "tell it like it is" guy. But, obviously saying it in a composed "I'm not trying to fight with you" type of way. If he's THAT good at saying what he thinks/wants, then hopefully this season isn't as messy as most, in terms of the leads being absolutely clueless and naive. I appreciate the honesty Ben!! I love it!!! Apparently Becca doesn't though..

Cause this is high school drama. On one hand, I want him to just send her out the door ASAP (obviously that hasn't happened yet, and she's already made it to the half way point) but on the other hand, I want them to have SOME SORT of connection that's genuine, because I don't what to watch a fake story for at least 5 episodes..

This is exactly my opinion as well. If blogger boy wants to outscoop people then he should post ALL of the destinations he's hearing, why wouldn't he. I don't care if he's right or wrong, what gets me IMO he lies. Clearly he never mentioned Bahamas once, and suddenly he knew since September. Why didn't he say Denver Boston Miami Bahamas? I find it funny that the day after love's post, he knows about the SM confirming the destination. I'm not putting words in his mouth, I quoted exactly what he said, and there was no mention of Bahama's.

I hope this is the right thread to post it but does anyone know when the next RC is? This traveling to the Bahamas has my day count off!

I think SM discoveries are fair play because of their public nature and we can't know for sure when RS saw the post. But I do find it interesting he didn't offer the actual Facebook info in his article (usually he shows all SM Bach related info that confirms his statements), so him getting it confirmed separately a day after is a little suspect, but who knows. He also didn't mention the resort they're filming at, which was in the FB post. On the other hand, I imagine he does get a lot of information and it can be difficult to narrow down the facts. If he revealed everything he's hearing, it might sound like more guessing. Not sure he can win, though I understand where people are coming from sometimes. In this instance, it would have been fine to say he'd heard these 4 or so locations even if not confirmed.

I'm really hoping we also get some snowy scenic locations now that they're already in a tropical climate. The discussion here got me in the mood There's time for more travel, right? Although nice, Miami would kinda be a bummer right after the Bahamas.

IMO, it's so easy for RS to "claim" hearing where they'd be headed AFTER it had already been proven by someone(and especially when that someone is on this forum - to which I do believe he gets most of his "source" info from) instead of just owning it and saying he's wrong. Heck, I am sure he would earn a lot more respect by owing to mistakes...unless of course he's not human. LOL.

I just feel that he's too abnoxious and childlike for his own good.
