I just came across an article about Chris saying he almost didn't take the Bachelor gig after being rejected by Andi. The piece also mention that he will be on an upcoming Where are they now? Oprah special.

Millions fell in love with Iowa farmer Chris Soules on The Bachelor. Before that, Chris was well known to viewers as one of the contestants on The Bachelorette, the show in which dozens of men compete for the affection of one woman searching for a partner.

Chris was one of the final three contestants on the season he participated. However, when bachelorette Andi Dorfman sent him home, he didn’t take it well. “It was really hard,” Chris says. “I was actually having real feelings for her. I was sad. You know, at that time, when I got sent home, I was like, ‘Man, okay, now I’m going back to Iowa, where there’s no women,’ and honestly, I was a little scared coming back here.”

But Chris didn’t have to wait long for another shot at finding love on reality TV. The morning after Andi sent him home, a producer called to ask Chris whether he would like to be on The Bachelor. Here, Chris explains why he didn’t instantly jump on the opportunity.

I was never a fan of him. By no means do I think he's a terrible person, but I wish Becca had the opportunity to meet Marcus (my favorite) or Brian when she went on the Bachelor the first time.
