If I use UnREAL's tactics as my basis, I could see TPTB constantly whispering doubts into Ben's ears -- "she's only here for fame, she wants to be a model, she's trying to be the next Bachelorette." What if it's guaranteed that Becca won't get any 1-1 dates with Ben by TPTB's decisions? What if she's only put on dates that are sexual in nature to make her more and more uncomfortable? (I recall her shocked face after Carly reported on her love guru date with Chris.) With TPTB's seeming fixation on sex based on last season (honestly, based on all seasons), I could see them laughing with glee at the possibilities of humiliating the virgin.

This is the only way RJ's reports are making sense to me. TPTB are in control and have plotted to never allow a romance to take place. Thus, even though Becca's motives for going on the show are legit according to RJ, Becca is unaware of TPTB's plan for her. It also explains RJ's trepidation regarding Becca's appearance...imo. Becca is like a lamb going to slaughter, completely unaware.

All of this is my speculation, just trying to mesh what I see as a possibility between Ben & Becca vs. the declaration that it's never going to happen.

My guess would be that RJ/RS had heard pre-filming that there were a couple of amazing girls that Ben would probably like and had also heard that Ben wasn't intrigued romantically by Becca. And, there are probably continuing to get evidence supporting that based on what they are hearing is happening. I don't think it's that crazy - with the exception of Sean, every lead has said that they know who their F4 (and usually f2) is going to be on night one. Of course, there's alway the possibility that someone that didn't originally stand out will surprise the lead (like Catherine did), but that's pretty rare. I'm sure anyone that had known Sean pre-filming could have told you that Kacie wasn't going to win (same with Ben/Shawntal). Sometimes you just know!

I'm still excited to see them interact on-screen, but I think RJ/RS are probably right.

I am not ruling anything out.
It was stated 100% that Becca was not going on the show and can bet on it.
Well, she did.

That being said, I don't think anyone needs inside info to think that Becca may not be F1.
I can predict she won't be F1 just based on my own thoughts and what is known about Ben and Becca.
However, I won't rule it out completely even though I won't be surprised if she is not F1 because I don't expect her to be.

With 24, or more, competitors, the odds are always against anyone going into this becoming the F1. Regarding Becca, I'm not sure why the producers would think it will make an interesting story line to bring her back and then undermine every possible connection she might have with Ben (on the contrary, I think THEY would think that Ben picking Becca, or at least making it far, would be more of a ratings winner than not). That doesn't mean they will force him to keep her far into the show if he isn't feeling it with her, IMO, but I think she'll make it at least a few rounds. I've never disliked Becca, but never been a fan either, haven't followed her on SM so my opinion of her hasn't changed since Chris' season, and I suspect she is still regarded relatively favorably by the majority of viewers. So although the producers are capable of doing anything, I don't see how making a likeable "character" like her a villain this time (unlike somebody like Nick, whose "character" was already the villain from the previous season) would be a logical option that will boost ratings from their perspective. I think she will either get a reasonably positive edit or be a non-entity (unless she actually starts picking fights with the other girls).

Not surprising. I posted a week or two ago that I'd be stunned if she made it to/beyond the halfway point (episode 5/6).

How does RS have any idea, besides his own opinion, about how long she we'll last though? I mean that would be my guess too, but he just seems so sure...

Well, she is still there in the Mix as RS posted today the pictures of her on the wedding dress date. Unless he did not give her a rose on the date, then she is safe going into the Rose Ceremony tonight. They should then be down to 11 remaining girls, and off somewhere to be determined tomorrow. Does anyone know if they fly commercial or by private jet?

I could see her letting her go on the 1-on-1 date...I really hope that doesn't happen, b/c getting dumped wearing a wedding dress has got to be the most humiliating thing in the world...but, then again, that's exactly why I can see the producers encouraging him to do it.
