Holy cow! What an amazing girl. That took a lot of courage, but at the same time it appears it did her a world of good.

I am happy she found someone who loves her for who she is regardless of her past.

Much happiness to both of them and continued strength to Jade. Her voice will IMO help many others.

Well that was heartbreaking to read. It explains a lot about her later choices as well. I'm so happy she's in a good place now and happier than ever! Thank heavens she met Tanner!

Agreed. I remember reading that statistic when I was young, thinking no way in heck are 20% of women assaulted in college. Now, I'm sure that it's probably higher and many women just don't report it because of self-blaming and fearing that nothing will happen anyways, considering the horrible way our society deals with this. My heart breaks for the 17-year-old girl who was betrayed by her friends who she trusted and felt that it was her fault. I'm so proud of Jade for sharing her story and I'm so happy that she's found a man who loves her unconditionally and would never judge her for something like this.

WOW- doesn't that explain so much about Jade? We all see her sweetness but also the fragility. I hope this opening up with the support of a loving husband puts her on the path to a very happy life. She so deserves it.
