I think Tenley was scared by what CH said about the final rose. They're a good couple in Paradise but not one who would make it in their real world. I don't have a problem at all with her walking away then. I don't think they were ever really talking about a future post show until the very end. JMO

I'm team Carly. I thought she did great tonight and Kirk really didn't have answers. He didn't have an explanation for why he said what he did the night before he dumped her. I think what happened is that he got cold feet and just wanted out instead of trying to make it work. That's fine but just own it. It's different from Tenley imo because he gave Carly signals that he was with her right up until the end when he wasn't. I have no issue with him for breaking it off but how he did it.

Love Janner. They remind me a little of my favorite couple, Chris & Peyton. They're very low key but obviously in love.  

I'm team Carly also.  I don't think Kirk is a bad guy but he handled things very poorly.  
Love Jade and Tanner.  I think they could make it long term.   I loved when Jade said they didn't want a long engagement...translation, don't bother with the tacky fake wedding like you threw for Marcus and Lacy.   Did anyone else think they (especially Tanner) did not look too excited about another trip to Mexico?
Finally why were Sean and Catherine on this show.  They talk about Bukowski, but these two take the record for extending their 15 mins.  How many shows is it now???  #Worn out their welcome with me.

Tanner and Jade are absolutely adorable. They are a great match and I am so happy that amidst all the drama we got ONE great love story.

I do think Janner (Tade>} are a good couple together...hope they make it

Especially on a show whose finale usually means one or more

yes.,,, I believe some people have been really hurt....and they then never came back on the shows, they did not keep doing publicity shows...they went back to their real life, not milk it

To the bolded yea I noticed but I think it was just his nerves with the live show, he seemed nervous rightfully so. Jade and Tanner were on periscope tonight and someone asked about it and they seemed excited and wanted to see Jorge. Tanner commented I am not really sure why we got a trip but we will take it.

Sam and Nick - I just don't see it as they seemed very awkward everytime they kissed but hey they are still together so good for them

Cassandra & Jonathan - That was a nice surprise the way they were looking at each other was pretty cute/intense

Tenley and Joshua - I think that Tenley's break up speech was such a cop out IMO. I love Tenley but that speech/break up was horrible I think what she said on the after show was more accurate that they have different lifestyles but I also think she would never end up with someone like that. Did you see on the live after show and they commented on the tattoo and before he answered she said he doesn't know and made the action of him drinking

Carly and Kirk - I am still on Carly's side, I think that Kirk said all the right things but he still lead her on for too long and should have ended it way earlier. She was very defensive and clearly not over it, not a good look on her but at the same time he didn't give her any answers. Not a bad guy just made a bad decision.

Tanner and Jade - They seem like the real deal to me. That proposal was one of the most real feeling/genuine for me personally in a really really long time. I loved how nervous Tanner was and how Jade's fingers were shaking when he put the ring on. Really enjoyed their periscope afterwards as well they gave a couple tidbits like that Tanner called her dad the night the show finished filming to ask for his blessing, Tanner sings some Ed Sheeran song to her and that Jade spent two weeks straight in KC right after filming.

Thought it was very interesting that the show did the poll on Shawn/Kaitlyn vs. Jade/Tanner and also gave them the robes and a trip, they haven't done the trip gift in a long time. Also Jade and Tanner had not one but two montages one that they watched with the double screens, you can tell TPTB like this coupling.

Good end to a mediocre season, wish they would spend more time on the couples like Tanner and Jade.

IMO the only difference between Tenley breaking up with Joshua, and Kirk breaking up with Carly, is Joshua was listening. She was being realistic, told him how she felt about him, and the good that came out of the relationship. He must have known distance was an issue, since they were whispering in the forest on that topic. Kirk never had a chance to explain anything since Carly's solution is to run. I found it interesting that she contacted him to discuss what they were going to talk about, and he didn't return her call.

Re Jared - From what I've been told, he went right back to work after filming the 'ette. He has been very popular and was approached/told very early on about going on BIP. It's not Jared that's seeking out fame, it's TPTB that were after him.

Who was the male caller that called in before they brought Kirk out and what did he say? They were flashing tornado warnings with loud beeping sounds during AP. Strange, I have no idea where it was located.

GA my ears perked up at that as well. She wanted to talk about what they were going to say on the show...get their story straight? Shades of irony since that sounds very similar to what Samantha was trying to do with Joe. I am beginning to see why she is still single. She bolts at the first sign of conflict and doesn't want to discuss problems. Hard to have a relationship with that mentality since there is no such thing as a perfect, conflict free relationship.

I agree about the show pursuing Jared more than the other way around.  And based on him easily winning the poll about who fans want to see back next summer, I'm guessing they may continue to pursue him.

One big difference/problem in making an absolute parallel between Carly/Kirk and Josh/Tenley for me is that Carly and Kirk were sexually intimate repeatedly, while Tenley and Josh never were.  So I think that puts their relationship on a more serious level, and I'm not surprised that Carly had more expectations for the future than Joshua did and took the dumping worse than he did.  Unless of course Carly and Kirk extensively discussed the Nick Viall bylaws and it was agreed they were only having casual sex.

Yeah, I mentioned that in the tenley thread. Being sexually intimate just puts you at a completely different emotional and physical level. Especially for someone like Carly, who said her last boyfriend hadn't touched her for years. Add to that that they had real conversations about Carly relocating, having babies, making future plans (zach's Reception) and saying things like "I like how vulnerable you are!". I never heard any of this being said by tenley and Joshua and even the entire cast said that Carly/Kirk and Jade/Tanner were the most committed couples. 

I also have a feeling Joshua always knew that tenley was out of his league and that she didn't see herself as a welder's wife. She's much more into those software salesmen. He seemed sad, but not surprised at all by the breakup.

As for sex.....Carly was very flippant about Ashley I's virginity

Realistically - they had a lot more time together than on a regular show...yet on bach and ette there is often sex...look @ Claire and JP

Carly herself said he was not quite where she was but she would pull him along or?? It backfired. The baby talk was final straw IMHO
