Richie's answer about being the bachelor is pretty much "yes" speak, imo.
People are going nuts and wanting to apply... funniest comment I saw was by a lady who said she was going to apply but too bad she is married and her husband commented that he won't stop her.

For Aussies, this is beyond Ben H levels... I think in part because they actually showed Richie's personality on the show and there was a story arc that was focused on with Richie (and in my personal bias, because I think he is more dorkable awkward and Ben H is more politician uncomfortable with cameras.)

Sorry AAL. My hubby was using my phone. I hope he does choose to do it. I do wonder if he would have the guts to initiate kisses etc. it killed me when he said that he thought he had it in the bag.

Just watching tonight I'm so glad that Sam let Richie go last episode, it would have been so much worse for him to be let go at F2.

Did anyone else just see Sam mouth "I love you" back to Sasha?

For me, he's WAY more interesting than Ben H., that's for sure.

Loved this interview and I hope we see more of them. Great sense of humor, very humble and soooo handsome. I would bet that he will say yes in the end to being the bachelor. It would be wonderful to have a full season of Richie! Also, as blindsided as he was with being F3 he doesn't look depressed in this video to me. I think he seems to have moved on quite nicely....I suppose having hundreds of women clamoring to be his F1 doesn't hurt!

No surprise that Sam said it was harder to say goodbye to Richie and didn't want to take him to the finale. So great too that Sam supports him so much! It's quite easy to see that while she will say positive things about everyone Sam is 100% #TeamRichie  

PS: How hard was it to get rid of Richie and Michael? Did you find one harder than the other?

Sam: Ugh . . . You know what, I actually found Richie harder to say goodbye to. I think both of them were quite hard, let's be honest — it was evident on my face. With Richie, I just think the world of him. I think he truly deserves to just shine and he deserves happiness and love. He is an absolutely truly incredible person. I can't fault the guy, except that my heart was with someone else. I didn’t want to take Richie to the finale because I knew that I was going to end up with him [Sasha] and it wasn’t fair.


PS: There are about 16 girls in our office who will take Richie, so . . .

Sam: You know what, I think he should be the next Bachelor! He’s endearing — his awkwardness is endearing and he’s amazing and funny . . . He’s gorgeous. I’m team Richie for Bachelor, all the way.

Both Sam and Sasha want Richie to be the next Bachelor as stated in their live-chat they had with news.com.au.
