The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - Filming Schedule - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Wow, spectacular spot Minidiva. A Greece trip will keep me invested this season no matter what else happens. I hope they plan some great imaginative dates, beyond walking around the village. I can't wait to see it! I think I'm more excited about this than Ben and his girls right now.

I don't think they would use a movie tie-in for the Fantasy Date. It seems to me the usual tie-ins have to do with a group date (perhaps followed by SQT- oops, I guess I'm wrong on the Cinderella one, but I would be right for Brave (Emily)... and always Disney related since Disney owns ABC. If you sleuth that one (not my thing) I would guess it would be for a premier in late Jan until mid-Feb.

They need to do a group date for tie-ins, because there are more opportunities to film positive reactions to use in the edit.  If only two people go, and nobody liked the movie it is hard to film the, "That movie was SO great!"  

Just my opinion, but I think the tie-in could be a Vegas show this year.  I doubt it will be filmed near the end.  Star Wars opens Dec 18, so Ben's season will not have started yet, either.

Disney is releasing a re-make of the Jungle Book soon, too. It is Live-action and comes out in 2016.

If they are doing a tie-in with a Disney movie here are the ones premiering in the first half of next year.

Good point about the movie release date, they would want TB epi to be aired before the movie release date as part of the publicity.

Relaxing, I have no idea where they are going in Greece, but ideally, it would be a romantic village setting with all the charm of Greece. IMO 

If they work it like Sean's trip to Thailand, each FD was at a different location in Thailand, with MTP and LCDs in the same location, but different from the FDs.

Based on beauty and tourism (American) the likeliest Greek locations are probably Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. Each spectacular in it's own way. They have 2 overnights, plua the FRC so three sites would be about right given they are are so close to one another.

Interesting timing with the current situation in Greece(both the economic and the migrant/refugee crisis).

I highly doubt they would head to the usual hot spots in the south/east..(certainly not Crete, Kos, Lesvos,etc, nor do I think that Athens is the place to be right now)
Corfu (all the way across the country, in the Ionian) would be my bet. It's pretty much the only go-to destination left completely untouched by current events.


Digging that they are finally heading to Greece though. ;) I think I may watch this season. (From what I understand, Ben seems to be a good guy.)

Disney releases the movie "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" in December -- perhaps Ben and his date(s) got to preview it.  That would be fun.

Thanks Mini for the thought. I had that one on my list as well as a few others, one of them with their own heli for guests to use since this resort is so private.

FWIW, the filming permits that I have found are for islands of Crete, Mykonos, Thira, and Milos, with the communities of Athens and Piros as also having filming permits issued. Again, remembering that there are 2 movies being filmed right now in the country of Greece, do any of those permits apply to the Bachelor is another matter.

If anyone can find other filming permits that I couldn't, I'd love a hand with this.

NOW, since Thira has a proper airport, I can see it as being a set off point for another seaplane trip to a neighboring Island.
