It was fun Miami!! Back to Chicago… at least till Sunday.

Well either way, at least he is having fun playing along... He knows how this show works and I really don't think that he had any disillusionment regarding the producers ability to mislead in order to create drama about who the next Bachelor would be. He has been the drama token twice now. What's once more?

Ha! I can so see them trotting out Nick first to give some commentary, so people will be like "OMG is Nick the Bachelor?!" and then they'll bring out Ben H. I do think the gig is Ben's though, especially since he commented on Nick's IG pic today. Got the vibe that Nick's no longer competition so they can be buds again.

Yes, I thought that interplay between Nick and Ben was cute, but interesting. Not sure it means really. But it was endearing for sure.

Nick could be a producer of this show. Help out his Nick jnr. He's been the bait and hook for Ben H so I can see that continuing a bit and then Ben H is announced. It was very sweet of Nick to tell Ben H he is a sweet heart. Both good guys, imo.

I can't see Nick playing along, especially if he was bamboozled by TPTB. Perhaps, he's going somewhere else. RS is only covering his arse in the small chance he may be wrong.

Maybe Nick hasn't gotten the formal rejection yet, b/c they are trying to avoid a repeat of arie's pre-announcement tweet of "enjoy the farm, ladies" (or whatever). I wouldn't put it past them. It does seem like nicks going to LA from his tweet. RS is still maintaining that Ben got the gig, so I feel like he heard Nick was going to la, doesn't know why, and speculated it might be misdirection. 

I could see Nick just being the guest co-host, instead of a guest, since I don't know how they are going to have enough time with three special guests, and all their deleted scenes, phone calls, tweets, etc.

I think just like Kaitlyn spoiled her season, and everyone still kept up the pretense, Nick has to know he is not the Bachelor.
Don't think he is that clueless. Even if he pretends to be.

As much as I would love to see Nick get his happy ending (not like that!), I'm actually happy he's not the lead. I'd rather see him keep doing the modelling, and whatever else may come of that, rather than more reality TV social porn. There aren't many leads I've still liked after their season is over. Hope Ben will be an exception! At least he's fluent in English unlike the last two Bachelors.

I think Nick knows quite well that he is not the Bachelor. He to me got a better gig with keeping his job he loves and his new modeling gig. Nick is the kind of guy that will support Ben in his journey and wish him the best. They have already had a Twitter exchange showing that both are true men and on friendly terms. Two very classy men IMO.

Does anyone know if Ben has actually signed the contract?

I am just hoping and praying that they did not up the offer to convince Nick to be part of a two bachelor gig. I think Nick is too smart to fall for that, unless they give him megabucks to do it. I also think that Nick is playing along, at Elan's request, to up the suspense and still try and make thenouncement of Ben a surprise.

I'm not suggesting that Nick's not smart but why would we think that he would turn down anything Bachelor related (lead or co-lead)? He appeared to have wanted the gig imo. I have a feeling they were trying to make it like maybe they were considering someone else other than Ben H or it's possible that there was a split between two guys as Fleiss said (although I don't believe a word he says). In any case I'm not thinking there's going to be 2 leads or that Nick is their choice.

I don't know about you all but I'm so ready for the announcement. I've given up on my guys, Jared & Chris Cupcake, but think Ben H will be good assuming everyone's right about him being lead. He's easy to look at, seems to have a good head on his shoulders, & I think there may be a sense of humor hiding that I'm hoping will come out in his season. Looking forward to the announcement on Monday. :Nod:
