Also...Ashley I said in her article that Clare said on periscope that it was the anniversary of her father's death that night she stormed off from the RC. Apparently, she didn't tell anyone about it.

Why is Ben so self righteous?
IMHO Juella had NO connection in sight - so why not go home to her kid?
she chose to stay and prolong her drama = justify a vacation?
I can not imagine bad picker Tenley w Joshua (eww)
I do think it has become more obvious that in little world of
Bach Nation they all "know" of and follow each other
As for Tanner and Jade - bores - they have their pedestal to perch on - LOL

Re: Bachelor In Paradise - Season 2 - Episode Discussions - #2 *Sleuthing - Spoilers*
Jared has been too passive aggressive with his intentions for Ashley I - he should come right out and say "Look, you're damn pretty, you're a likeable person, but the quantity of spark, it just isn't there - let's be "game buddies" to keep each other in until one or both of us are able to find someone else, maybe someone new, who will be a better match for hopefully both of us."
But it's a relief that the (*&^$@! Iaconetti tear train has left the station and has been mostly out of sight around a bend. Looks like it may be completing the loop and coming in again for a long stop before the show ends, though.
I'm not happy with the cut job the editors have done to try to show Ashley S again as a wackjob. For several episodes, she was making by far the most reasonable and sane comments of anyone on the show. Show us the damn "red flags" that Dan used as an excuse to dump her. Was she too clingy? Guess what, except for Tenley, which chick on the show didn't immediately start envisioning what sort of tux her "new soulmate" would wear to their wedding, in the midst of their very first date? Clearly the conversations with animals were something that happened AFTER Dan dumped her, after the producers prompted her to act wacky, or after she had concluded the show was over for her so she again got bored and to thumb her [rather exquisite] nose at them, acted bonkers to mock the show and the other contestants. Maybe I'm just a sucker for one of the most beautiful blonds ever to grace the small screen (if only she blinked a bit more frequently/normally), but it really seems like there's something there more worthwhile than the apparent loon the editors enjoy showing us. Wouldn't that be terrific if she could somehow parlay this 16th minute of fame into an actual career on TV (which virtually all reality TV contestants pray for and so few deserve)?
Looks like both Tanner and Kirk are going on dates with other women. Last fling for Tanner before popping the question to Jailhouse Jade? I thought Jade may not objectively have been the most beautiful woman on her season, but subjectively, she was incredibly gorgeous - that sort of shy smile she has perfected is amazing. But I'm sure every one of those contestants knows all the gossip about each other and I don't understand how Tanner could seriously consider her a life partner - Jade's Playboy modeling is far from the worst incident in her past. I think that of the two guys who initially expressed strong interest in Jade, Jared has by far the more sensible head on his shoulders by not pursuing her. Personally, my friends and family wouldn't care about her nude modeling, they'd care about her multiple dishonesty-related arrests.
Maybe Kirk has gotten sick of date after date with shallow, bland and/or vapid stunningly beautiful girls so Carly appealed to him in a deep and genuine fashion, but .... well, no, that's not really true, is it? We saw his obvious nonverbal communication and it wasn't comfortable and he wasn't looking like a guy who was enthusiastic to be with a girl. Any normal guy who has really deep and hot feelings for a girl, he's not going to play tentative and "keep things slow" like that, he's going to grab her when she's basically screaming "Take me!" and say "Great minds and loins think alike." I find it hard to believe that maybe the best looking guy the shows have ever seen would be truly falling for a woman in the bottom 20%, who is only marginally and/or arguably pretty, just a bit better than "somewhat more attractive than average." Is it shallow to say that? Honestly, which contestant on any season of these shows hasn't had more than a typical degree of shallowness? Maybe the weird Zen healer guy from Kaitlyn's season? We're not dealing with disciples of Mother Theresa here. Judging by some of the comments that Kirk has made about Ashley S and others, he's not exactly a deep and compassionate humanist, is he?
Am I the only one who thought, as Ashley S was crying about Dan's date with Amber and Juelia was watching Joe and Sam swap spit, "What if those comfort hugs develop into something more? What if they pull apart, after declaring their support and love for each other, there's an awkward pause, and then their lips starting approaching each others"? Naw, forget that, I'm just being a pig aren't I? But it's allowed to some extent on these guilty pleasure-type shows, isn't it?
Speaking of Juelia, I haven't watched this week's after-show yet, but did anyone ask her during her appearance about any of the points that Joe semi-validly was making in his attempt to deflect the legitimate accusations that he is a lying dirtbag? It would have been nice to hear someone say "Juelia, you clearly did not feel anything for Jonathan, so wasn't it wrong and somewhat hypocritical for you to have led him to believe that there was a connection with him when what you really were after was a rose to stay long enough to meet someone new coming on to the show? And incidentally, how on earth could you fall so fast and hard for someone after just a single date lasting a few hours? You were more devastated than Ashley S and she legitimately had a relationship with Dan over several weeks."
What a fun show.

I share your take on Ashley S. I find her smart, sane, and sensible. Another cast member had mentioned that she had been "emotional" in the past week, so it would have been nice to see what that was all about. Don't you get the feeling that the show put the bird enclosure in especially for her benefit?
Kirk really doesn't do anything in particular for me. Having said that, I was hoping that Carly would finally get some love from one of the cast members. I think she is cute, attractive, and has tons of personality. But I've been getting the feeling that Kirk thinks he can do better. Well, good luck to him with that.

This was Claire's sad sob story during JPG's season. She has no hesitation IMO using that angle for sympathy and to justify her actions.

They did... in nightcam videos on one of the After shows.
"Gorgeous George" wasn't getting enough "beauty sleep" in the Boom Boom Room. She was hopping around all on the bed like Rikki Tikki Tavy.
Amber is the polar opposite. She looks like an actress in a Nyquil commercial. No wonder Dan was smitten.
Also... it is tough when there is no gym and Solo Flexes to "relax" with in Mexico. Remember these guys take great pride in their abs so that they look good on camera. That is why a bunch of them got bored and had to attack Evil Joe long after even Juelia lost interest in him.

Amethyst, I think you are right. They clearly brought in the animals to get Ashley's odd, animal-loving personna to come out. Wouldn't it be interesting if Ashley got a gig hosting or reporting for some Animal Planet show?
***edited*** whenever someone is talking about a woman being "emotional" they usually are implying she's suffering from the three least acceptable, dirtiest, most insulting letters in the English language to a woman, PMS.
You know what I would love to see on one of these shows? I'd love to see a guy come in and list a few things he's looking for in a woman, and then say that he is looking for a woman with the integrity, consideration, and strength of character to be emotionally responsible and non-abusive when she's not feeling well. Say that he expects that if a woman can be polite and civil for an entire day at work, even when she dislikes and has no respect for half her co-workers, then she truly ought to be able to do the same thing around the man she claims to love and respect. Have him say something like:
"I'm looking for the sort of woman who might come home and say "Honey, I had a bad day and I'm feeling awful, so I want to warn you that it's not you. Could you a) just give me some space tonight; or b) cheer me up and make me feel better?" rather than think it's ok to let go of self-control, rip my head off and use me as a whipping post."
Over the years, this topic has come up many times in bull sessions with several dozen friends. Every single one of those guys has commented that most (but not all and not every month) of the women they've ever dated have had this exact same problem - they can control their PMS at work but take it out on their significant others at home. AND they become furious if the man, trying to come up with some explanation for this puzzling and unfair behavior, asks if PMS to blame; apparently many women would vastly prefer to be though of as an out-of-control, emotionally abusive, and unreasonable person, rather than a human being subject to a very common and understandable element of human biology. If a guy is sick as a dog, he's going to admit that's why he can't concentrate, not deny he's got a cold and have people think he's hungover or doesn't care.
