I think this is true. Before Heather had her ice cream van date, am I mistaken in thinking we had no idea this was happening? I don't think it was in the preview and it was referred to as a surprise for us viewers. They are keeping things up their sleeve and they didn't show us anything from the last chat at the CP.

I am still full of Heather Hope and I think the producers have put researchers onto this forum to make sure everybody is in the dark as much as possible.

or they simply didn't want to hype the date, so that they wouldn't put too much importance to it ... as it happened ... the only thing that people got out of that date was how lovely is Heather and that she is falling in love, but Sam didn't make some big gesture to support his feelings for her.

Also, it was sleuthed here that she's going to have a single date, so we knew.

I tend to agree with you but on the other hand before the date the official SM accounts released a picture of the Sam/Heather date with the caption: "The date we've all been waiting for".  So they were kind of hyping it but kind of not at the same time. All very muddled and I don't think either mean anything to be honest.

Honestly I don't know "what game" TPTB AU have been playing with Heather's edit ... I don't get it, because I don't know what they get out of it, apart for her being a smoke-screen (as now I do believe she is) ... why making her "the star" ... "Heather's show" ... why giving her some much screen time ... I don't have an answer to that.

Also that scares me how it's going to end .. what will they (Sam) come up with for breaking things off ... what will they say it's the reason?
Just friendship? ... that will not be enough of the explanation, since we all knew that it could be a potential problem and still he didn't eliminate her before ... so I'm scared they're gonna make her look bad (in some way, make it her fault) ... so that Sam breaking up with her will be justifiable. (I don't like the idea)

Oh no, don't mess with Heather's image, dear producers.

Sam has been defending Heather before, I hope he does it again if they try to give her a bad edit. They still seem to have a good friendship after the show based on how happy Heather sounds in interviews and the way Sam reacted to the "Heather slip". JMO

I hope that this is all game and the lack of Heather related screen caps has done its job and made us doubt.

Yea, maybe to cover up the slip up by Heather I guessed.

The only problem is ... that we are talking about the preview from the 1st episode ... that's when the extra scenes (that we haven't see yet) are and the only future scene with Heather from her HTD. And this is before the media-round and Heather's "slip".
The change of my position happened once I've seen the new 2 promo for episode 13 and 14 ... where i don't see possible to place the extra scenes in ...

but hey, if they do appear in the next episode ... then I'll be more than happy.

No ... the next episode 15 has only 3 girls and then episode 16 is a finale, so yes, 1 has to go after HTD.
