Aaah! Now this was a gut-wrencher and so romantic a season. Is it replaying again? Or is there another season already?

ETA: Here's online links if anyone wants to watch the first season that hasn't (or wants to watch again): http://watch-series-tv.to/season-1/outlander

I loved Season one, but skipped season two in getting ready to defend. Was it good?

S2 doesn't start until 2016. They just finished airing the second half of S1 (8 episodes) in March-May 2015. If you're an Outlander fan, you have to see what amazing work Sam (Jamie) did in the second half. But you'll have plenty of time to catch up before S2.

Opps missed second half of Season one then. giggling I will have to catch up after September 10th. Hubby gave up mid season one part one on me so I have to make time to watch it alone just like the bachelor. I have a friend I watch and chat with live for bach/bachette, so this season one. That turned out to be a mistake, but my friend is happy. bestbud!

Watching w friend makes any show better bestbud!

I've heard people say that Outlander is Game of Thrones for women. But as a woman, I like them both.  Outlander is more romantic and character driven...but I do like the massiveness of GOT and want Jon Snow to be alive!

Hides head under pillow, hubby watches GOT, but I do not. Too violent for me.

The second half of Outlander has less sex (the romance is still there) and is more violent than the first half...not GOT violent though. There are parts of GOT where I've turned my head b/c it was too violent and, some of it, I don't think its even needed for effect. GOT has killed off several of my favorite characters, leaving only a couple to even root for at this point.

Hi, so glad there are others here who have seen the series. I love the show and the books.  They are filming season 2 right now. It will probably be shown in the Spring of 2016. They have casted this French Actor named Stanley  Weber.  He's such a hottie!

And one day I turned around and looked back and saw that each step I’d taken was a choice, to go left, to go right, to go forward or even to not go at all. Great analysis of episode 9

Pia1. Thanks for bringing these over. I've watched it twice now and will re watch b/f Season 2 starts. I wonder if S2 will be split as well. Do you know how many episodes they're doing for S2?  I loved that we got 16 episodes, rather than the typical 10-13, even if it was split in half.  Sam & Catriona have great chemistry that really sells Jamie & Claire.

I believe there's going to be 13 episodes. Here's a Trailer Teaser shown at San Diego Comic Con.

Yes, I'm crazy about Sam and Cait. Their chemistry off screen is incredible. I think they're together. I've been fangirling for about 2 months now since I've heard of Outlander. :cutesmile!:
