The only closed sets I know of are Mesnick and Ali (to keep ending tightly wrapped/Chris L sensitivities.

CH was basically MIA this season and likely was working on scheduling the rest of his book tour and getting himself sorted for Millionaire show.

I think producers and crew were checked out and over Kaitlyn, imo, and they just wanted the season to be done with and move on to BIP.

Even Kaitlyn and the guys looked they wanted it all to end ASAP.

Kinda like us viewers

Thanks Agent!! I was thinking of Ali- she was the closed set with a single spoiler. Makes sense why Kait's plan would mirror that one to me.

Thanks Agent!! I was thinking of Ali- she was the closed set with a single spoiler. Makes sense why Kait's plan would mirror that one to me.

Except the real spoiler has been out for almost 5 weeks now. Wouldn't that have given them enough time to do a live ATFR? And, they did an open ATFR with Brad (I believe?) and a live ATFR with Des, which were the other two incorrect ones.

I'm still thinking if they are doing closed set, it has to do less with keeping things under wraps (because they could have just done live one then), but because they are worried that they won't be able to elicit fighting and drama out of N/K/S in the time limit of a live show. They probably want to edit stuff to make it look a lot more crazy.

ITA. Only reason for non-live ATFR is to control the edit, imo.

Or if they need to have an after the ATFR like with the Mesnick season.

Hmmmm. As much as I don't look forward to that day...I really still do.

If it is a closed set and not live I see it more as trying to stir up drama by controlling the edit because if it is live and they have a feeling Nick or Shawn will be all crazy then why not film that live?

If they choose to keep it closed and edit it then I think they are not getting what they want in prelim talks with F2, F1 and lead so they need to cut and splice it to make it more dramatic. jmo

I don't think N,K,& S will fall for the probing, poking, prodding, etc. as much as tptb would like.

^^^ Totally agree. They need a closed set for the edit. I bet they might even film this weekend. ;)

I think they may have a better chance at getting Nick to fall for whatever they are planning than getting Kaitlyn and Shawn to fall for it. Nick is sort of "alone" - he doesn't have anyone to think things through with or plan strategies with and when it comes to the show itself, he will be alone. Shawn and Kaitlyn have each other and whatever joint resolve they can muster to avoid falling into another trap and I think by now they are just about up to here with the show BS. They will also have each other to play off and work together and by now they've had some time to figure out just how to do that.

Shawn better come f%^#$ prepared. I cannot deal if he flies off the handle now that he's engaged to Kait, who is obviously fully devoted to him and has been for the past 3 months post-show.

Well I am going to cut him some slack with all these articles coming out about K and the Nickster getting it on in Utah, and most importantly the mutual ILY's that Shawn never got. Hopefully she was fully honest with him about all of this that went on with Nick and he isn't just finding out now. He may even question her current devotion as guilt who knows. Chris was able to overlook Des being in love with Brooks but then again Des never slept with Brooks.
