See this is why I don't want Nick as the Bachelor. Even if he manages to get some sympathy due to being dumped again, if he gets the Bachelor gig, people will just say that's why he went after to Kaitlyn to begin with and Shawn was right. It won't be fun with all the hate. I'd rather have a lead we can all root for and Jared is perfect for that. How could anyone not root for him? I don't think he has a bad bone in his body.

Yeah, I am totally over Nick.  I wish he had never done the season, because it basically ended my fandom of him and this sexting nonsense just leaves an icky taste for me right now like a lot of things this season have.

Why are we assuming that sexting occured? Just because the rag mags say so? Why not also assume that the most recent article about Kaitlyn being heartless enough to drag Nick to F2 simply for ratings is true then? Double standard.

It also seems that Jillian reread her blog from this week and has softened her negative stance on Nick. Maybe she felt a little bad after the negative backlash on her site. She retweeted his posting from last night, "Kindness is super cool. It's also free."

I actually feel a little bad for Jillian if she received the backlash for her opinion/comment, since she didn't write anything bad about Nick, she just gave a sound advice to Shawn, because he clearly needed one.

Sexting ... I've actually never seen how that "looks like" ... like, what should a person write to turn the other on?
so have no opinion of ... since the sex-life of others doesn't excite me.

I'm actually over the whole scandalous portray of sex on TV ... when there are other "topics" that are more disturbing.

It takes two willing partners to sexting, so I don't think it's fair just to blame one person alone.
Besides, when it comes to the show, I trust US and People more than other news media.

See I liked Kait going into this season, but I was never a mega fan like I was of Nick's. She is far from perfect IMO and I place equal blame on her for this fiasco. My fault is putting him on a higher standard than others. I believe he was into Kaitlyn but I don't think he was this poor innocent victim who was played by her. He's not as naïve as some people seem to think and I do think he shared way too much information about this sexting (which should have remained private) to others which is why it is getting out now. I doubt Kait is the leak. jmho.

I realize this article is likely false or the producers are just stirring the pot, but the part that is disturbing to me is that Kaitlyn and Nick were still having sex after her overnight with Shawn.  I just can't believe that if she chose Shawn.

Although Nick and Kaitlyn did look pretty cozy on that cough after his family date.  And she again brought him to her room.  Whereas Shawn and she stayed at his place.

I think that, unless we still confirmation from Nick or Kaitlyn, everything we hear will be assumptions but, based on what we've seen of Nick and Kaitlyn, sexting makes MUCH more sense to me than bringing Nick to F2 just because of ratings. I'm sure that the producers would have pressured her to take Nick to F2, regardless, but it's pretty obvious to me that the only two guys she ever truly liked were Nick and Shawn. Ben barely shed a tear when getting dumped by the girl he loved, and Kaitlyn cared for him so much that she snuggled up to Shawn in a king bed and whispered sweet nothings to him with Ben in the same room. Safe to say that B/K were just a showmance and that there were no real feelings, outside of the Bachelor Bubble. I think she truly liked and cared for both Jared and Chris, but I don't think they ever went outside of the friendzone. I think she probably always knew that she would end up with Shawn, but I also don't think she was ready to say goodbye to Nick yet.

In terms of the sexting...not to generalize, but when you have two single people in their 30s FT-ing until 3 in the morning, they are not going to just be having deep conversations. They are going to get sexual and naked and intimate with each other. The fact that they had sex the very first opportunity they had proves that to me. RS has been saying that they were sexting back in May and I think he has a really good Nick source from some of the things he has said.

People were commenting on Kait's wardrobe change from when she picked up Shawn up for the MTF and when she actual met the family. So it's possible, they squeezed in a quickie there before she met with his family. Who knows?
