Says Shawn thought about leaving and was especially hurt about the sexgate escapades because it was Nick, but ultimately couldn't leave because he has such a strong pull to Kait.

Yup. Nothing new there. Also, the timing of it all makes sense because by then Shawn was already so deep and he was beginning to realize at the same time that he was on a show with the woman he was in love with who was dating other guys too... So, yeah, he had no choice but to get over it if he wanted to be with Kaitlyn more than anything as he said he did.

I strongly disagree that we can assume Shawn is controlling, abusive or dictating any of Kaitlyn's actions post show.  I also think people are much more than how they react under great emotional stress and that one low moment doesn't define their whole character as a person or how caring they might be in a relationship.

The last guy I saw get labeled with the concerns that he was controlling, had anger issues and could be potentially abusive was when JP got jealous in Ashley's season.  And we know what that was - a passionate, genuine, sweetheart of a man falling crazily in love with the love of his life.

I don't think Shawn is psycho or abusive, but I do think he has the potential to be controlling and needy. I'm also not convinced he really "sees" Kaitlyn. When people fall in love without really knowing the person they're falling in love with at all, I always feel like their love in invalid. Reminds me of a certain couple from last year. We all saw how long that "love" lasted. They seemed pretty crazy about each other too around this time, so that doesn't prove anything to me. Time will tell, but unfortunately I see trouble on the horizon unless both Kaitlyn and Shawn take a good long look at their way of handling emotions and learn some impulse control. 30-year-olds shouldn't be acting like teenagers.

The fact that no bitter exes have appeared doesn't mean someone can't have issues. 1) Not everyone wants their name in the tabloids. 2) He probably doesn't even have such problems with women he doesn't feel that strongly about anyway, because you need to fear the prospect of losing someone to be jealous in the first place. Who knows if he's even had any serious relationships? 3) Women like to find excuses for bad behaviour by men. Some even find jealousy attractive, because it must mean he really cares, right? Kaitlyn seems to full of excuses already. 4) His past relationships might've all ended for reasons that have nothing to do with his behaviour, and he might've been the one to end them all.

Regarding the bolded: Ben H is seen by most as a gentleman and a good guy and he has a bitter ex appearing in magazines... so yeah, not a good way to gauge who does and doesn't have issues in real life relationships and neither are happy SM media pics/videos... (some of the unhealthiest relationships I have personally known have posted the happiest looking SM pics/videos of them). No amount of interviews, snapchats, edits, articles, SM posts are going to let one know the real status of a relationship.

None of us know Shawn. Doesn't matter how one views his behavior and although I am not liking how he goes about things I personally don't see him as abusive. Maybe he is. Maybe he isn't. I don't know. All I see is that he is not JP. JP never confronted Ash time after time after time after time.

Still, I will give Shawn a pass for now because of the show being what it is, but on the flip side, it is because the show is what it is (1 women many guys) his behavior is needy and entitled at the very least and he can blame Kaitlyn (or Nick or Jared) for that all he wants since she told him he's the one, but he chose how to react to her telling him that. jmo

Im thinkng it wasnt that she was hard hearted but more of I had sex with Nick once, in the heat of the moment...now we've gotten to know each other better and hence, the question are you really the one for me, or is my ONE the other person whom i had this amazing connection wth since day one. I think for her personally it was better to take N, since they had already gone there once and had built a decent connections and if it happens again oh well, then if she would have taken Jared and lead him on completely knowing her only two real connections at this point in her eyes were with N and S.  

I agree she didnt have to go there again with N, but maybe she wanted to see if it would be different in terms of  was it just sex, or making love? in her eyes and heart i believe if she felt different going their the second time and the experience change from just having sex to making love in a fiance' type way, she would know he was the one.

I do agree though, once she had her last date with shawn and he rocked her world and they too did the deed...she tells him he is definitely the final one in private...then by all means i hate that she let Nick come to the finale and letting him propose, that is just straight out wrong.  she could have done like Andi last season and many season b4 and let him go early and let the finale be about her and her chosen one only.

IMO, and from what I have heard about a past season, this is not a choice the lead makes. The lead might fight TPTB over it but at the end of the day, they will lose.

Yeah, this wasn't Kait's choice and by then, she was so emotionally and mentally beat up and drained and probably believed that Shawn was going to leave her anyway that I don't think she was in any position to battle them, even if she really wanted to go to bat for Nick.

I think the moment he decided to join the show, he was going to be either f1 or f2 and would be proposing since no way were they going to repeat his exit two years in a row.

I have no problem K took N to f2 even her heart was with Shawn. Hey, it's a show and someone has to be the f2. My problem will be if she lets him propose. Did TPTB really tell her it's necessary to let Nick get down on one knee? Was she force to do so? If she has any ounce of compassion, I hope she would stop him before he proposes.

It's unlikely that any of us will ever know the answers to those questions with regard to Kaitlyn. IMO if they lied / threatened or used any other means to force Kaitlyn to do what they wanted and she ultimately yielded to the pressure, it would not be the first time.

Some people have a harder/easier time saying "no". 
I make no judgements with this, it's just the way it is.

So, does she make the confession next week?

Lol, I am trying to be quiet. I know I pretty much stand alone .... Not until US weekly spells it out week of FRC will I totally believe S is F1. I seem to catch things not discussed or analyzed. I get it with snapgate but I'm just not sold on S being last out of limo...interviews and her obvious lack of N words in her blog makes my eyebrows rise. Hell even CH skipped over N this week. I'm totally outside the circle of being sure that she picked S.
