I hope so too! TPTB are sick and will do anything for ratings. No wonder some of these producers are "messed up" and end up leaving the show. Kaitlyn and Shawn look and seem happy. Nick seems to have moved on.

And TPTB act like they are so innocent and are friends with these contestants and the contestants just willingly let themselves be guinea pigs even after the fact.

It is so disturbing that TPTB do this... give them endless supplies of alcohol and then film/record them in compromising positions.

I think TPTB have always done this, what's different is now they are airing the footage. Just gross.

Kasha has said for years, TPTB are not your friends. You can not trust them, they will do whatever is necessary to make and promote their show. You are a thing for them to use. Now going into the FS after the doors are shut is a new low, but not surprising at all. They used the boom mics to get audio for the session they aired this week. They will stop at nothing for ratings, nothing.

TPTB are the employers and the lead is their employee.
So the best lead is the one who acts professionally and uses the time and means cleverly.

TPTB are a business ... and as a wise rule says: Don't Mix Business and Pleasure

No idea if L&S has the real story but this season it fits. I feel for Kaitlyn and both guys. I bet no future lead will be open with them. I think if I was going to be a lead (which would never have happened), I'd tell them I wasn't having sex at all. They could take it or leave it.

And don't blame it on the alcohol if you do mix business and pleasure.

The extent they will go to, the things they choose to air, and the type of edit the lead gets also depends in large part to how much the major decision makers liked the lead.

They didn't have any troubles making Des look like a fool, and if Kaitlyn has been upfront about her liberal views on sex, they will accommodate her, in their own twisted way.

That's what I would do. I get that 95% of leads have done it, most contestants know to expect it coming in, and that sexual chemistry is an important part of making a decision on a life-partner. But...I still find it icky. The idea that you are having sex with 1-2 other guys while your future fiancé is planning to propose just seems disrespectful to me.

Exactly. That is what Bach NZ lead did (straight up told the girls nothing physical is happening and first kiss was Ep 5) and even Bach Aussie S1 lead did (he had not FS overnights at all) and no emphasis on a proposal ending.

So many leads reason that it is the proposal ending that makes them test everyone out. But even with the proposal format changing, I don't see anything changing unless it is purely the lead themselves who refuse to sleep with someone.

I encourage everyone who wants to see what by all accounts/reviews is an
accurate depiction of behind the scenes antics for this show to watch the fictional
"UnReal". It airs conveniently enough on Monday evenings at 10pm e/p time, on
Lifetime channel.
It was mind boggling to me and I have a pretty low opinion of what tptb are
capable of.

BY Shawn's IG he was out Thursday night.There were pictures posted with him and some girls..now he is following them?Seems odd for F1 behavior.JMO
