i believe everything Kaitlyn has done is to pacify Shawn from this week onward.  I can only believe that she is drawn to abusive relationships and does not value herself all that much.  In Cupcake's words, " She is messed up."

IMHO, Shawn was going to leave, because he believed he should be her focus.  The kind of jealousy he showed over the group rose is abnormal, no matter what the situation.  Shawn has control issues.  Kaitlyn fans his behavior by accepting responsibility for his bad behavior.  JMO, but I believe the format was changed through Kaitlyn's request or she was going to leave the show, rather than upset Shawn.  

She would need to distance herself from Nick in order to survive being with Shawn.  JMO, but I believe the rumors of Nick leaving were precipitated by her reveal to Shawn about the sex.  Shawn may have told her to get rid of him then, but I am sure the producers said no.  

I have seen abusive relationships up close and personal.  The "run, run fast" should have been about Shawn.  I am sure Shawn is crazy about her and very possessive; therein lies the problem.

Kaitlyn pretends to be a freebird, living in the moment.  All I see is an insecure girl who covers it with humor, tries to build relationships built on chemistry alone, and is floundering because her search for the meaning of life is whatever her current boyfriend approves as appropriate.

If Kaitlyn chooses to be with Shawn, then she must convince herself and Shawn that any verbal or physical exchange with Nick (or anyone else) had no meaning.  Shawn was never going to allow Jared to be in a FS.  Despite rumors, I am convinced that Kaitlyn had FS sex with one person only.  She was too frightened by then to do anything else.

Since her change has been post filming, and it's been noted that Nick seems to be doing very well, it's even been speculated that he's seeing someone... maybe she's upset that he's "gotten over" her so quickly?  It could also be that's her way of dealing with losing Nick, some people tend to blame the other when a relationship goes sour.  If Shawn if her f1 then she has lost Nick, there is no way in heck Shawn will ever allow them to be friends.

That was honestly my guess too. I know that most people think that it's because Nick reached out to her, like he did with Andi, but I personally think that Nick learned his lesson and wouldn't do that. I do think that he's moved on romantically, from what RS has alluded, and I feel like Kaitlyn's like "wait, he was hung up on Andi for months...he proposed to me and he got over me in like 3 weeks?". I'm sure that just led to her thinking that he never really liked her and just went on the show for exposure. I might totally be off, but that's just the vibe I got.

I hope you are right CP. I truly hope it's nothing he did post filming that upset K so much she wanted to distance herself from all things Nick related. We shall see.

^^ IA, Nick's apparent happiness is what led me to believe that he was with K in the first place. After snapchat gate though, when compared to Andi's season, he has moved on quite quickly.
Good for him and no doubt people would be doubting his intentions. Doubt did cross my mind, even as a fan.

Has anyone else watched Kaitlyn's periscope videos?  She is hard not to like after watching them.  She seems carefree, funny, laughing a lot and silly.  More of what she was like during Chris's season.  I actually feel much better about her after watching them.  She made one last night with her mom. It was kind of adorable. The most recent one is with her best friend Carson Drake.  They talk about some of the guys and he tries to get her to tell which one was the best kisser.  She won't give that away...

Carson says that he likes Ben H and Kaitlyn's relationship the best and then adds that he like Shawn too.  And then says that he likes Nick because he seems like a "down to earth guy".  When asked if Carson knows the ending, Kaitlyn responds with, "He thinks he does.  He reads the spoilers."

  Kaitlyn also commented that she would like the see Ben Z. versus Ben H. as the next Bachelor.  Then someone pointed out that she gave the ending away and she didn't pick Ben H if he could be the next bachelor.  She laughed and said something like, "no I didn't.  I like to play jokes and tease." And said "I'm engaged to Ben H." (sarcastically).  Then someone asked about Nick and she said, "I'm engaged to Nick too."

Her friend also said, "I have the same hairstyle as Shawn." And Kaitlyn pretty sincerely said, "Shawn....who?"  Like she forgot.  Not really teasing either.  He looked at her funny.  And then she said, "Shawn from my season?"

Overall page and Carson were cute and funny.  I enjoyed it.  It made me like Kaitlyn a little more even if she maybe sent Nick home in tears.

I totally agree with you and have felt that way from the beginning. Interesting theory about Shawn may have asked her to get rid of him. Eliminate the competition because at this point in time, he knew Nick was the only competition.

I couldn't agree more. I don't watch soap operas for a reason.

When Shawn asked me point-blank if I was in love with him, I was surprised. Again I found myself sitting there asking was it fair to say yes? Was it unfair to say yes? I could understand his perspective – it wouldn't have made sense for me to be in love and having intimate relationships with other people when I cared for him. Yet that's what was happening.

I am imperfect. I was confused. I knew I was falling in love with Shawn. I was falling for a couple people. And, if I am honest (which clearly I am), I was scared of Shawn.

I can't believe she is justifying everything he says and putting blame on herself?? the language in this blog post is suspect I am seeing what you're describing GA... very sadly admitting that -- so sad i hope it's not true that shawn is controlling that'd be suchhhh a bummer truly a bummer even more than all the drama we've been watching -- it seems shawn is in control post-show cos she's completely channeling him and putting blame on only herself nooo K nooo

Yeah, I watched her first one with Jillian and the two that she did with her mom. I agree she comes off as pretty likeable and "real". I thought her relationship with her mom was pretty funny, since her mom would go off on all these deep tangents and she'd be like "MOM, STOP TALKING"!. It was cute. I did notice that when she answered the snap-chat question, her mom said something like "don't believe everything you read", but it might have been referring to another comment. I also thought it was interesting that both she and her mom were really complimentary towards Chris Soules. Considering she's such good friends with Whitney, I thought that she would be a bit more harsh towards him.

It does bother me a little how she keeps going "I don't care about negative tweets on SM AT ALL! I think it's pretty silly to sit behind a computer or phone all day", and I'm like "Kaitlyn! You totally care and you totally are on your phone all freaking day long".

One thing I kind of realized was that she didn't really have a career before this; she seemed to do a bunch of things, like teaching spin class and training servers. I do feel like Nick would want someone who was more ambitious and career-oriented. I actually feel like the more I get to know about her the more confident I feel that she and Nick wouldn't have worked.

Mental abuse is not good hope she realize in time words are use as abuse tools.
