this is turning to be Andi 2.0 in so many ways, the engagement is not gonna bypass the next Bachelor's premiere as well.

I would love for Kaitlyn just to be honest at the ATFR show.  It is clear that she was drawn to Nick...their chemistry is clearly visible...even to those who do not like Nick.  But would she really be that shallow to keep Nick until the F2 just for a lustful, physical connection? There must have been something of substance between them for her to repeatedly risk her relationship with Shawn to keep Nick around.  She should just own up to that.  

It's crazy to me that she can own up to the fact that she had sex with the guy...but to admit she felt something deeper...something real for him is too much?  Just seems backwards to me.  If it really does that much damage to her relationship with Shawn to be honest that she had real feelings for Nick at the time...that relationship is not going to last.  It needs to be based on truth...not just Kaitlyn placating Shawn's desire to pretend Nick never existed.  

IMO, Kaitlyn will appear the strongest of women if she can own up to her physical and emotional relationship with Nick - to Shawn and to the viewers.  The fact is that if she chose Shawn...her relationship with him was stronger and deeper than any other.  It only serves Shawn to hear about how much she cared about Nick...because she cares even that much more about Shawn and chose him over Nick in the end.  Plus, she is being honest with herself, Shawn, Nick and the viewers in the process.

Kaitlyn has made it clear that she wants to live in the future...good for her.  That is what is best for her new relationship with Shawn.  She should not dwell on the past with Nick.  But, IMO it doesn't mean she should pretend it didn't happen.  That is unhealthy for her, Shawn and their relationship.  (Not to mention what it might make Nick feel like.) She and Shawn may have dealt with it since the end of the show's taping, but the viewers are just living it now.  If she is going to claim that one of her priorities is honesty...she should include the whole truth of her relationship with Nick...not just the physical part.  And if she and Shawn truly dealt with it already, there should be no issue with sharing it.

It really just feels like a waste of time this whole season, imho.

All this talk makes me miss Jillian. She really was so adept at NOT diminishing or dissing what she shared with any of the guys. Very real, mature and graceful.

from Kaitlyn's demeanor the morning after the sex with Nick and the way she kept recalling it as " a fu**ing stupid mistake", "if he tells guys i will end up with no one" as if she already knew she's not going to pick him yet she had sex with him the night before, i find it highly disrespectful to Nick (i am no Nick fan). to call an intimate moment as a stupid mistake, the way she totally brush him off in her blog and interviews is not nice as well.

and then she keeps him till the final to propose and then dump him and totally brush him off like she never shared anything with him ?! this is why i disliked Andi last season and she seems to go on her footsteps one after the other.

Sorry to disagree IrishGal, but I don't think it is just a guy versus girl thing. It might be a personality thing though. It might be a "brutal truth" person versus "respectful truth" person. But you are right that Shawn probably did not want to hear it.

IA. Also it's hard for her to call it a mistake if she chooses to sleep with him again during FS. And given how her F1 reacted to her giving the GDR to Jared I am not surprised damage control is in motion.

From the preview for next week Shawn confronts her and asks her if she is in love with him and it seems like at the end of next episode there will only be 3 roses. So we start with 9 guys and end with 3.

^^ ITA -- love how you have articulated this. I've been feeling quite uneasy about her comments after the last ep, and you've put it beautifully. I definitely feel like their is an element of disrespect that is mirroring last season

Dont worry the end is nigh and she might end up just like Andi with no one. The wheels of justice in gods hand grind exceedingly slow in the end is does exceedingly well. Nick will be just fine.

Hard to call it a mistake if she chooses to sleep with him again during FS.

I think Shawn, confronting and asking Kaitlyn on camera if she is in love with him was his ultimatum for him to stay otherwise he would leave. So while it seems like sexgate is what changed things up, imho, I won't be surprised if we see that it was actually Shawn pushing K to tell him how she felt about him that was what changed things.

TRUE this, AAL!!  How is K going to defend that one???

We want her to be honest, but if she says what she had with Nick was bubble/lust then she's lying and only trying to please Shawn? More like we want her to validate what we see and believe, her true feelings be d@mned.
