Not sure I did this right the first time. So... I'm a first time poster but long time lurker. I love this site, but my housework is hurting for it. But that's okay...I catch up Tuesday 8/2, as soon as I wake up from my cupcake hangover!

Unfortunately I don't think that this is EVER going to happen again, it was a one off that they so far haven't repeated. Ashley is at the mercy of TPTB, Ali was only allowed to let Chris go because TPTB thought it was good TV.

Bottom line, Ashley is still a person who should know right from wrong........why make that day harder on anyone than it has to be by allowing the F2 to get down on his knees and propose........that I would think would make the day 100 times harder on everyone, yet she did.........WRONG. IMO

Would you have this same sense of outrage had she allowed JP to get on one knee before rejecting him instead of Ben?

Yes, I would............it is wrong for a F2 person to have to go through that. Doesn't matter what his initials/name is. I believe that Ashley is a person, and she does have choices........this time, she made the wrong choice.

TPTB are idiots. They shot themselves in the foot for ratings with the Bentley debacle and now are scrambling like rats in the sewers to get the viewers back. I want the ratings only for the sole reason that they finally gave us a true love story that we see on the screen and if ratings are not good, dumbass Fleiss will blame that, cause it wasn't hidden, when it was Bentley who drove viewers away in the first place. If you read this board Chris H. or Mike F. get a grip and your facts straight, and realize you screwed up royally, not JP and Ashley falling in love on our screens. We fans want to see the love story, not some douchebag insulting Ashley. :angryemotion
