Big Brother - Season 17 - Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Vanessa is going to take this whole thing out. No surprise if she does.

Steve won part two of the final HOH. Steve and Vanessa will play part three on finale night.

Now for Steve to win part 3 and take out Vanessa...to work that hard and get so close to winning, I'd love to see it happen.

If Steve wins 3, do we know who he will take to sit next to him? I thought it would be Vanessa per his promises.

Steve has said to the camera (us) that he will take Liz to F2. I believe Vanessa will also take Liz so Lizzy looks to be a lock for $50k. Steve and Vanessa will be playing for $500k. The loser of part three will most likely go out in third place. It's kind of a shame but that's Big Brother.

I'd like to see the opposite of what Lost17 wants. Vanessa has controlled this game from day one. She has also controlled Steve. He was her lapdog for most of the game. I think she deserves the win. I wish Steve could get second but I doubt it's possible, if Van wins part three.

Part three is a crapshoot. They have to guess how a jury member would answer a particular question. Either of them could win.

Kasha he talks to the cameras at times and has said he'll take Liz, 100% take Liz. So we shall see if Vanessa can get in his head at the last minute. After his win, Vanessa mentioned Steve might want to throw the final HOH to Vanessa, haha, and he told her he wouldn't throw it. So now he thinks she's onto him.

I agree, Vanessa does deserve it, if she can get herself to the F2. Steve was alone most of the game, but at least he tried to play the game where he could. He and Vanessa had a deal early on, and he stuck with it, but he knows she's playing him now and most likely won't win over her. If Steve can get her out, the one who's been controlling the game since 'day 1', I think he deserves the win.

Vanessa deserves the 500K.

My hope from week two when the Freaks and Geeks was formed was for a Vanessa/Steve Final 2. I love their dynamic. It's sometimes teacher/student (both exchanging roles). Sometimes parent/child. Sometimes friends/enemies. Both of them have a high level of intellegence and they play a kind of cat and mouse game in their conversations, again alternating roles. I'd still love for them to be a very deserving F2. It just doesn't appear that it will happen. It'll be win or go home in that part three.

Side note: Steve wanted to tell Liz last night that he and Van have been working together since the beginning and would be taking each other to F2. (It would be a lie, they are not) Vanessa talked him into waiting for a couple days so Liz doesn't feel awkward around them. In truth, I think Van will probably talk to her first to tell her it's a lie and ask her to act surprised. So even when there is no game left to play, Vanessa is still controlling Steve. Despite that, she either wins Part three or becomes a jury vote.

PS: while either Vanessa or Steve will be disappointed on finale night, I don't think either will be bitter and will vote for whichever of them stays over Liz. They both respect the game.

I wish that I could like Vanessa.  I really do, but something about her just turns me off.  It has bugged me all season to watch her cry, yell, act so hurt, etc. at all of the other players - like she isn't doing the exact same thing to all of them behind their backs.  To me she just comes across as a hot mess!!!  I could not stand to be around her or anyone like her.  It would be exhausting.

Oh well, she probably is going to end up being the BB winner.  I am already prepared for that outcome.

Totally agree there is something that I just do not like and have not from the beginning . I do agree that she will be the BB winner but I would love it if Steve won.

I think the key word there is 'act'. (I hope) She's done a lot of acting this season, she's a poker player and a good one and she brought her A game. If not, then yeah, she is ONE BIG hot mess! It was strange to me at the beginning that she cried and cried. I began to wonder if that was how she saw who the sympathetic/easier to control people were and who weren't. It's hard to know with a mind like hers.
