Nick Viall - Bachelorette 11 - *Spoilers - Sleuthing* - Discussion #4

Since Kaityln unfollowed Nick on SM, IF Nick is really trying to pursue Kaitlyn, posting supportive comments on sm is not an effective way. OH, Nick, I am disappointed in you. If you are such a flirt and seducer, you'd better come up with something fancy to maintain such a reputation.

Nick has a job? That must be a F2 thing since it seems it is preferable if the F1 doesn't.
So all in all, I think F2-land is not such a bad place to be...
And he has one thing any woman seeking a husband should have at minimum - a job.
He's already on his way to destined husband land.

There was zero doubt in my mind as soon as RS announced Nick as a contestant this season that things would go any differently than last season. And there's one common denominator. I hope this is his last stint on TV, but if he wants to get to know his 3rd dream girl in a span of a year and fiancée her up a little, there's always the next BiP.

I'm going to be positively giddy if Kaitlyn has been getting the same love letters as last year. He's so efficient, just recycle the words, actions, love notes, etc.

JMO: I think I knew there was going to be something different about this season when Shawn and Kaitlyn were in diapers on the diaper date.
At least Nick made sure his contract didn't allow for that. Small blessings.
But they got him at the end... gotta get down on one knee if you won't be seen in a diaper.

I thought RS suggested Nick was unemployed and as we know everything he says is gospel. *in case it wasn't obvious, that was sarcasm*

I hope for Kaitlyn's sake she doesn't try to pull an Andi and act like everything was all Nick and she had no culpability in anything because that didn't work for Andi with some people and it will DEFINITELY not work for her. Kaitlyn is delusional if she thinks anyone, I guess aside from people who really, really hate Nick, will go for that when she has been getting criticized and called out since the first episode of the season, long before Nick showed up.

People have been judging her, judging her actions, calling her shallow (before Ian said it), worse Bachelorette ever and yes the sl*t shaming. I've read so many comments from people so excited for the MTA to see the guys go at her and say how they felt about her as the lead and how awful she was. Fact, Kaitlyn is not exactly beloved as the lead and yeah I'm sure the producers will push the "love story" between her and Shawn, starting with her melt down next week at the sheer thought that that "thing/mistake" she did with Nick could cost her him but yeah, some people are still not going to be fully sold on her or hell even them as a couple that they will buy this "oh it was all Nick, he was just so aggressive and flirty."

Especially again when she regretted it so much and loved Shawn so much that she kept Nick around and still had sex with him again. So if I were her I'd quit with that mess and go back to, "look, I treated each relationship as its own thing and in that moment I was very attracted to him, felt very connected to him and it happened and that's it." Trying to make herself out to be some innocent manipulated by Nick is bullcrap and disingenuous.  If this past episode is anything to go by, I get that the guy she's currently engaged to isn't the coolest cucumber so maybe she feels she needs to appease his ego but she's making herself look and sound foolish and full of crap in my opinion.

JMOAA anyone lucks out anytime they realize the relationship they are in or think they are in is not going to work out and then they get out.   Life is too short.

Thanks AAL, historyrepeats - yeah, the same feeling ... chasingpavements - I like them both APART, but I chose the side long before Kait got on board.

In all honesty ... Nick is no different than the others ... he isn't better or worse who ever appeared on this show ... but the mere fact, that he got more hate than any other and was called awfully distasteful names last season for not doing anything wrong to the woman he was dating, made him my favorite contestant.

And the best part is ... he is ALL OUT, finally! I'm singing Hallelujah.

And hell, right now Nick is getting free tickets to see freaking U2 from his job, so he is winning in my book. And I'm also very, very jealous.

IA. They even have that same quirky dorky side of them with their 6 pack abs but don't put emphasis on outward appearance and care more about being true to themselves, not caring what people think (to a fault), and are candid about even taboo subjects.

And yes, he needs his own Matilda. She supported Art and defended him continuously. Art even said their wedding song would be "Cheerleader" b/c Mattie is his biggest cheerleader and he said that he "won" (even though he was the lead) :Nod:

For me I don't want to read too much into her interviews, I really don't think there is animosity between K and N. It's normal for her to go on the defensive with all the hate she getting after sexgate. What I don't get it she says she does not regret the sex she must own her actions Nick did not force himself on her. And she starting to sound stupid there is nothing wrong with being flirty and physical when u dating someone. I would worried if am dating a guy and he does not flirt or is touchy with me

She is starting to annoy me with her back peddling. It's does not match up with her actions and words on the shows.

Oh boy. Seems like this is starting to become a theme with Kailtyn (as Shawn kept reiterating).
S sees it as "words and actions not matching up" and K sees it as "living in the moment".
Who knows what Nick sees. Obviously his view must be different now. Hopefully so.

Nick will be fine even if he doesn't act like it FRC time and hopefully he will realize (if not already) that being F2 twice is a sign from the universe to stay away from anything Bach-related.
