I get that she has fans; I'm not one of them. I am basing my opinion of her on her actions and my own experiences. I HIGHLY value hard work, and a strong work ethic. I have had two jobs almost my entire adult life. Andi is a public figure and puts herself out there, and opens herself to praise and criticism. Since this is not a fan thread, I am free to state my opinon here - same as you.
It is called daddy Hy , she would not know hard work if it hit her in the face. I totally agree with you there is no way she is living in New York and traveling all the time without help.

I am sure she isn't the first one that is not practicing after getting their degree. I may be wrong on this but I think having that law degree will help her with other things in life even if she doesn't practice it.
I'm a lawyer and unless Andi gets into politics or wants to work for the government in some way her law degree is pretty much useless unless she's practicing. That said, Andi also isn't unique at all in quitting after getting a law degree. A lot of people hate it (or can't get jobs). So I'm sure she'll eventually figure out another career.

I don't know how many people can afford a NYC apartment without a job, not to mention utilities, food, etc. Then there's the gym memberships, trainers, cases of wine, vacations and trips.... Me thinks she has help, and isn't as independent as she would like others to believe. IMO
You know those cases of wine get expensive!
Honestly, I do wonder how she does it. I know that these people can make insane amounts of money with the endorsing and "celebrity" appearances that they do. There are bloggers out there who make six figures on Reward Style points (or whatever they are called) and for a while, EM was a top earner. So, I think the potential for Andi to make a very nice living is there, but I'm just not sure if it's happening right now. Along with Andi's webseries salary and book advance, it's possible she's self-sufficient, I suppose.

I can see people hating it or can't get jobs. I have a friend who hasnt passed her bar exam yet but she's already thinking about not even becoming a lawyer when she does pass it.

What do people like about MeAndi? What qualities she has? What has she achieved since her first appearance on The Bachelor?
For me, a person aimlessly living a life in her late 20, calling it "exploring herself and living in the moment that makes her happy" is just an excuse for not wanting to grow up, unless she has been working hard after graduation, earn a lot and afford this life style by herself. But for people who is this driven, they would have future plans, they always want to achieve more.
But what this brat is planning for the future? NONE other than a "self-help" book to extend her 15mins. It just worries me to know so many people, especially many teenage girls out there saying they like Andi Dorfman. Are the girls dream to have a lifestyle like her?? That is just bad.

There are teen girls today whose goal is to be a teenage mom, porn star, the next Kim K. All things considered, MeAndi is an excellent role model. Sometimes I despair.

This is exactly my issue with MEandI. Teenage girls are looking "up" to her wanting her lifestyle not realizing that someone (most likely her Daddy) is highly subsidizing it.
Also, I think men, quality men- at least are getting VERY wise to this type of woman. Men live to make women happy- they know a self-entitled, spoiled, shallow, vapid brat with no real work ethic like MEandI will never be happy no matter how much they do for her, so they take a pass. No need to read MEandI's breakup book- I will distill it down for you in one sentence- she was NEVER happy and Josh just got tired of it. Who could blame him?
all JMHO, of course.

"challenges are what makes life interesting, overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.real love is when you are completely committed to someone even when they are being completely unlovable.a strong marriage requires two people who chose to love each other even on those days when they struggle to like each other.a great marriage doesn't happen when the perfect couple gets together. It happens when an imperfect couple gets together and learn to enjoy each other's differences."

I'm a fan because of her personality and how much you could see she was in love with Josh during and after their break-up. Was their relationship perfect, obviously not but whose is? She could have wallowed for months but she picked her head up & is trying new things. Do I think her writing a book/journal type & not having a job is the best thing? Not at all but it's not my life. She seems happy which is all that matters IMO.
ITA. I'm a teenage girl and I don't, nor have I ever, looked up to her as a role model. I just think she's cool and that we have similar personalities

Serious quiesion. Just out of curiosity, what makes her cool? I'm long past my teen years so I really don't get the facination with these wannabe "stars" who have no jobs and don't seem to aspire to anything other than more attention.
