They all were in a position where viewers said they are old news, or they had enough of them. Absolutely nothing wrong with that if that's what they want. I've always been a supporter for the past contestants to take advantage of any opportunities.

He didn't start a new business, he has a good job, he didn't start selling anything, so to me this gig isn't about becoming famous. Due to the pre sleuthing that occurred, IMO he truly wanted to pursue that relationship with K. If she wasn't the 'tte, there's no way he'd be on this season. JMHO

I respectfully disagree GA. I don't think he used his so called fame because ATFR he wasen't exactly well liked by majority. I believe his appearance on this season was planned. I could be wrong, but that's what i think.

From what was sleuthed very early on, the end of March was when Rap date took place with other IG posts of Nick in hoody with Sharleen's fiance and Kaitlyn and Elan here.

So different outfits (hoody and sweater) but both times both outfits seen with Sharleen's hubby and with Kaitlyn.


ETA: Nick in possibly in same sweater and plaid shirt as seen in s/cap kissing Kaitlyn on Season Preview (no snow)

is this chelsea's pier?? RS spoiled that nick talked to K about coming on the show in NYC -- I don't think this is the outfit he wore to the rap date though so didn't even think of that but nick came to nyc went to rap date with sharleen + andy... said hey to K that time...then LATER they had time to chat about him going on the show. the convo we had a pic of from RS in the dark with him in the denim jacket is from the same time/place when he was talking to elan. i wonder if they had him do a filmed convo with kaitlyn where he tells her "i don't want to be a villan" blah blah the next morning after she went back thought about it and decided he'd come on...i dunno i'm confused cos we don't know the exact itenary he had for filming etc.

I agree with your disagreement. (Is that confusing?)  It would have been pointless for Nick to campaign to be TB in future based on the bad edit and viewer backlash he got.  And to his credit, he already appears to have a successful career going, and didn't need to leverage any Bachelorette fame/goodwill he did generate to promote that career; he's also not in a field that lends itself much to using TB notoriety to expand his business in the first place.  I suspect that while he isn't interested in becoming famous in an attempt to make some sort of career in media (or in anything!) like so many of them, he's also not opposed to being in the public eye in order to attract some POSITIVE fan attention, and may have even hoped that by doing the show again, he would be able to repair his image somewhat.  Not to mention that IMO he's very competitive, doesn't like to, or expect to, lose, and thought that since he already had a connection with Kaitlyn, he'd be able to rectify the bad outcome this time and come out on top.

IA IC, my sense is that he came on with conquest in mind and he was going to do anything to succeed to include nailing the girl.  That seems to hold his interest, IMO.

It is possible that they had a great time together, no regrets, while also realizing they were far too different people to stay together outside of the bubble. If that realization was mutual, they could both be happy.

Michael Stag (Deanna's season) tweeted to Nick for a paid appearance, but apparently Nick turned it down because he didn't appear on that event.
Not surprised Jill picked Nick. Herself picked a Chicago guy!

If this echos another thought already I apologize as I am catching up but I think TPTB released the Nick info now just because they know RS info will get around quick atleast on the internet so they are just throwing it out there and to also drum up the curiosity/drama/excitement of it.

From what Ali has posted, it seems she has a positive view of one F2, Nick and supports him but doesn't have a very positive view of the other spoiled F2, Shawn. Interesting since her views on these two F2 are probably the least shared view with the public: that is, most viewers like Shawn and most dislike Nick. Interesting she has the opposite view.  

Ali was always very pro Chris during the last foiler season with Brooks as spoiled 1 season which annoyed me as a Brooks fan. She wasn't mean about Brooks and complimented him also felt 'cautious' towards him but said he was more of the next Bachelor for her. I hope her support Nick mojo works the same way . Ali seemed very buddy buddy with Des that season. I am not saying Des told her per say but maybe she knows how to pick up vibes/info being a former Bachelorette herself. Or it all means nothing.

Completely agree. His " :/ " about the time the Bachelorette was chosen in real time indicates he really didn't want to have to try dating via the show but was interested in K enough to go for it.
