Drat! I was hoping you were on to something. Sunny Trinidad/Tobago is more appealing this week than cloudy Vancouver so I'm hoping Auntie discredits that lead . It was so disappointing on BachCan to see nothing but rain in Vancouver - although it will be spectacular here in another day or so should Kaitlyn bring her F2 to Vancouver to meet her parents?

I would be surprised if they had the last portion of the series in Canada. JMO

Weren't there issues in Prince Farming's season with not being able to get crews into Canada because of DUIs? I seem to recall something like that.

^ Prince Farming himself has a DUI record- he would not have been able to go to Canada for Kaitlyn HTD because of it. Kaitlyn I believe made the comment that they had her HTD at her mom's (second?) home in Arizona because there was a "problem" with crew going to Canada.

I agree Kasha. Kaitlyn doesn't need her guys to see Vancouver in the same way Chris needed his gals to see the farm. Also there would be no monetary incentive to film in BC.

Well, at least this time, if they are here in Vancouver or in the Okanagan, they definately will have great weather. It has been warm and sunny in the Okanagan as well as on Vancouver Island and Vancouver too from what I saw on the weather channel. There are tons of interesting things to do in all locales. IF they go to Jasper which I think may be a possibility due to it's closeness to Leduc, it should be kept as an option.

I just don't know if they had time to plan that. Don't they usually plan these things way ahead of time? They didn't know Kaitlyn was the lead until the first day of filming.

Yeah I doubt it was a problem with the crew. They could hire any sort of Canadian film crew members they might have needed. The problem had to be Chris himself.

To be quite frank, there are incentives right now. 1) the Canadian VS USA dollar. It will be a lot cheaper to film here.
2) Areas like Jasper, Edmonton, Leduc and Calgary could all use a big tourism boost right now. Leduc and Calgary especially after last summer's floods and tourism downfall.
3) There are a lot of areas that they haven't filmed yet in Canada that are very interesting.
4) If we are following suit in a way for Chris's season as many back to back seasons in the past have done, they'd likely go back to a farming area and since Leduc and Calgary has that in spades. May be an idea. If they were really doing a themed episode/FRC, they could also use the Calgary Stampede grounds for the finale.

Well, IMO and what I heard, it was a foregone conclusion that Kait would be the bette. It was in the cards no matter what the vote would be....she was set up to be the bette and as such, it would of been written into her contract some stuff that she wanted, including spending more time with her final 4 or 5 guys.

#1 and #2 TPTB couldn't care less about. 
Put #3 on that list, too. #4--I don't think that is a consideration. JMO.

FWIW, RS said today that Kaitlyn was always going to be the 'ette and TPTB "steered"the guys to vote for her.
