I'm going with Joe bailey too. That was the person that came to my mind when I read the article.

RS posted his blog breaking down the press release. Nothing much new. He said Britt never had a chance to be the B'ette, it was always going to be Kaitlyn when they chose to do two B'ettes and the guys were steered in her direction. He also said there's a lot of misinformation going around and he has the spoilers for the first 7 episodes and will release those before the season starts. I posted the new bits about Ryan M and Jared in their threads.

“Some suitors give both women equal attention, while others make it no secret who they want to be the Bachelorette.” – Britt never had a chance at being the “Bachelorette.” This was going to be Kaitlyn from the get go when they decided to go with two. They just wanted to switch things up the first night, but it was clear that guys were steered in the direction of Kaitlyn. Sorry Britt.

Some more of what else RS said today on his site; "All the dates they talk about in the press release have basically all been spoiled already, so nothing new there. A few of the dates like the Met date, the Christ Church Cathedral, and the Blarney Stone date will all be revealed later. To say this season will be a little bit different is an understatement. Things were NOT done per the norm, especially when it came to hometowns. I will explain later. Obviously I want to have everything right for you before I post it, so when I have everything confirmed, I will lay it out for you. Producers have done a much better job of keeping things less public once they whittled down the guys – but not good enough. Let me just say that there is A LOT of misinformation floating around about this season. I will straighten everything out for you hopefully before the season starts. If not, I at least have the first 7 episodes of spoilers to hold you over until I find everything out, which I’ll definitely release before the season, regardless of if I get the ending before then. So just be patient."

He says something different about hometowns this time as has been much speculated on this board.

For Chris' season, didn't RS tweet out the FRC date in advance and also tweet the address to the Soules (parents) farm as the location?

I believe that it was set up for Kait to be the Bette from the beginning. Nothing solid to confirm that but believe that she was always the intended bette. Therefore, plans were made well in advance of her visiting certain areas and how long they'd be there as well as how they were going to edit the season.
