Me three. My first impression was the turnaround from FRC to premiere of the M&G.

Which presents a challenge for spoilers to spoil before the airing.

When are bios usually published on the ABC website?

^^^ Sort of when they feel like it. Sometimes they're posted as the season begins filming (Sean's season) and sometimes not until the show begins airing.

So what is the consensus? Are we down to the F3 or F2? Surely we have at least moved beyond the F4 by now, right?

I am positive Nick will be F1 and Shawn the next bachelor.

Nick/Shawn as F1/F2 (imagine the drama if Nick is F2 again), and maybe Ben as F3 and the next bachelor?

And, I think that a lot of pre-season speculation in the past has been wrong, just because we haven't seen much photographic/video evidence of most contestants and the chemistry between them and lead. So, we tend the automatically favor the contestants who we have seen photos of. I remember that during Ben's season, everyone thought it was going to be Kacie and during Andi's season, everyone thought it was going to be Marcus. And, the second we actually saw the season premiere, it was obvious that neither were ever serious contenders. I could potentially see the same happening with Nick, with TPTB making Kaitlyn keep him longer than she wanted for the drama. Especially if the rumors of him being a b-i-t-c-h are true. I also think that we don't know enough about Ben and Jared (and a few others that haven't been officially confirmed as eliminate) to count them out.

I personally would be a little surprised if Shawn and Nick did actually end up being F1/F2 (in whatever order), just because that's what everyone thinks is going to happen.

I feel that we are looking at this for a schedule and something about 4 htd's is very possible especially if they are all on the east coast-ish. As this shows, there is enough time to fit 4 HTD's in especially if they weren't long ones and all within a train ride/short commute per se.

to play devils advocate here...the reason many seem to be picking out this F3 and F2 is actually based on spoilers on the board as opposed to pictures and familiar faces.
I actually think Jared could be a much stronger contender for F1 than we are giving him credit for based on the filming schedule which we have been mapping out due to previous seasons...we think E9 usually has F3 so it's possible the "spoiled" F3 we're discussing doesn't include him simply cos there's no news from his camp but there is news from the other groups. I think the chance is slim that he is F3 with the other guys spoiled in multiple ways that they are F3 but if we're getting an extra week this season or if the info we're getting are foilers it's a whole other story...  I also do think tptb will make sure it looks like Nick stays till the end to keep viewers hooked cos he's their only "character" ppl are familiar with who's coming back for a "2nd chance" it's like they're getting the effect of having him come back as bach added in with K's draw and therefore a huge ratings draw

In any case if they are at F4 on E9 then I'd say that Ben doesn't move forward into F3 and it's between Jared and Nick for F1 and Shawn being the bach - the rumblings we've seen/heard about shawn quitting his job and the twitter chatter about him becoming bach if he's no winner...are the reason I am saying this. If Jared is in the F3  then I could def see it be any combination of the F4 at this point minus Ben who even boardies who know him think maybe not the right "click" with K even starting from her entrance with CS

(IMHO I strongly believe that tptb will make it appear that nick is in F2 regardless of the outcome cos he's their "ratings cow" and so if we were to take all of the spoilers about him as foilers...)
