Joe Bailey - Bachelorette 11 - *Spoilers - Sleuthing* - Discussion

We all had envisioned joe being the arrogant and cocky type. But RS stated he will be well liked. And after kaitlyn and joe talked she liked him because of his gentleman qualities or something like that because he yes ma'am

Where did the arrogant & cocky come from?  I thought that was Clint?

Well, I don't put much stock in the "we" stuff here. It usually does not include "me". 
As far as I'm concerned he probably is a nice guy. I went back and read the other pages since my last post, and I can see where the "we" view came from...but that lands in a big "so what" pile for me. Twitter username for him is tongue in cheek as far as I'm concerned until I hear or know something otherwise. I mean--my username here is Kashathediva. Certainly does not mean I am a diva...now my dog perhaps.

Some posters speculated that Joe would be arrogant and cocky but I don't recollect the basis for the speculation whether opinions on his profile/promo or fact based.

it was based on twitter he just didn't seem like the sensitive type you can look at his posts and make a decision for yourself
there was something in particular about him saying he doesn't know what about his behavior is "gayer" and maybe a few diff things that were controversial

There are definitely some things on his Twitter feed (and in his profile) that rubbed me the wrong way, but that's just me. Maybe other people wouldn't find them that way. I also didn't get the sense from his twitter feed that he's just a simple, humble country folk either... so it's possible that he's a RS leaker and that's why RS likes him. Even if he's calling himself "joebaileysego" in a tongue-and-cheek way, that doesn't scream "SIMPLE FARMER" to me (especially considering he's an insurance agent and not a farmer). Maybe he's not going to be putting on an act on the show, but I have my doubts....

Also, and this bothered me less than other stuff, but he also wrote about wanting to be on Andi's season, and before last season of the Bachelorette made a strange comment about Momma Murray (which was even weirder). It's all back in this thread somewhere.

I think he wants to be on the show and got to be on the show. Hopefully he was running a fever and just out of it when he was talking his MEandI stuff.

I never thought he was cocky. I think his Twitter handle gives it away that his tweets aren't to be taken seriously. He also seems to get along well with his older mostly female coworkers.

week 2
Comedy club date hosted by Amy Schumer. Ian, Joshua, Tony, JJ, Chris, Joe, and Jonathan were on the date. Most memorable thing from the date is Joe called Kaitlyn up on stage for his last joke and said there are two types of people, winners and losers, and he doesn’t want to be a loser so he kissed her.

2-on-1: Joe Bailey and JJ Lane. They went on a picnic and Joe got the rose. JJ sent home.

Per RS

Thinking this is all Joe?  He is wearing a similar vest/long shirt combo with the white sleeves - the sleeves are what I noticed in all the s/caps as they seem to match along with his hair? Seems like his hair matches (higher up and goes to left -- so opposite side of Dr. C or Ben who have darker hair).  

On his date with Kaitlyn in Ireland per RS. Perhaps on the boat in Ireland and then picnic? Per RS he said that Joe was on a 2on1 with JJ and they had a picnic and JJ was sent home. So maybe the boat ride after the picnic or?


ETA: Kaitlyn giving Joe a rose (can see it in her hand) -- so if 2on1 he gets a rose but per RS he gets eliminated next episode anyway... maybe that is why he is upset?

Based on the lighter blue jacket, looks like it may be Joe kissing Kaitlyn? Not sure where this is? SA?
