I thought the same thing since his first SM pics... maybe he doesn't smile with his teeth very much? Although, even then, his smile doesn't seem to reach his eyes?

I would imagine that F1 or not, it may be hard for him to watch the show. Plus, he left his job to go on the show so he may just be having a tough time all-around.

Still not ruling him out completely though - as F1 or next lead. Shawn has the most followers of the contestants (excluding Nick) so no matter what I think he will come out of all this just fine, even if it will be rough waters for a bit.

I don't think it's an indication because i remember JP always looking like an unhappy guy in the streets of NY .

Shawn during the time when Kaitlyn tells the guys that someone named Nick wants to be on the show and Shawn says "Viall?". He didn't like the guy before he even met him.

In PI Shawn says, "If she was 100% confident in our connection and in our relationship then she wouldn't even consider bringing him here".

Based on the previews and this video, if Shawn was the frontrunner, at this time he still hadn't had his 1on1 date and was about to have it but Kaitlyn let Nick on. Imo, that is because, based on time knowing the guys, K may have actually felt like Nick was a frontrunner even more since she knew him prior and her interaction with him in this video, imo, seems the most relaxed I've seen K.

Interesting. I remember Kaitlyn was wearing a gray shirt in those caps when Shawn went to her hotel room and she looks to be wearing a gray shirt on this date. Could it have been in NYC instead when he went to her hotel room or was it for sure confirmed to be in Ireland?
