I think Kaitlyn liked Jared because he never put any pressure on her.
She didn't need to reassure him while she had to do that with the F2 and he also never questioned her.
So to her it was probably a relief being around him.

Agree with both posts. They really seemed to have a simple relationship where they genuinely enjoyed each other's company, no drama and no fireworks but that is a quality that lasts. He also has been more mature than his years IMO.

I think he really thought he had a chance with her and it will be a shock to him to go and will be very sad. Kaitlyn's tears at letting Chris go choked me up a bit as she clearly had a hard time with it. I think Jared's goodbye will be even harder.

IMO that's close in a lot of regards. Bachelorettes seem to pick someone they like as a friend (though not as a lover) to take far into the process (could be F2 through F4). It's someone they can "play lovers" with without becoming emotionally conflicted over the one they really are falling in love with. For DeAnna IMO that was Jason; Ali had Chris L; Andi had Chris S; Ashley had Dino; Kaitlyn had Jared. Unfortunately I think Jared may have mistaken her comfort with him for an attraction that wasn't really there in the first place.

I'm sure I'll shed a few tears when he goes home. He seemed like one of the most sincere and upright guys on the show. JMO.

IA Lucas. I think Jared thought she was the girl for him, but in reality, he was a friend to her, where she could relax and not think about her other issues.

IMO Jared is oblivious to what's going on around him as far as her connection with S and N.

Other than friends, I think they are totally different and wouldn't make a good match.

Luckiest, because she let you go! Thankful he doesn't have to be involved in the rest of that cesspool of a show!

Would love to see him as the Bachelor, might bring back some 'class' this show so badly needs, but probably best he's not, the direction it's going I say stay far away!

Such a class act, from the moment he got on the show to the moment he left.
Jared should be very proud of how he handled himself, the guys, Kaitlyn, and the show.
