The Bachelorette 11 - Screen Caps - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Very emotional for sure. When I watch the scene after she left Shawn I see a woman who cries because S told her he loves her and she is not on the same page. She says:
"I just care for Shawn so much and in that moment I felt like...I don't know." She doesn't look like a woman happy about being professed love to. JMO

I am starting to think that maybe Kaitlyn was set in picking Nick, until the night before when she had an emotional breakdown and changed her mind to Shawn. It would explain the "I didn't mean to take it this far to decide" and it would explain why Jason seemed to think she was more in tune to Nick at MTP. It would also explain why Ali has said the finale is so good, as that hasn't ever happened before, and why it took an hour to reject Nick.

I don't know what to think, I just don't think it was so cut and dried it was all Shawn at this point. I do think that Shawn's HTD was first and they were shown out of order so her crying and such would be after the Nick ILY, not before.

As for no F2 gift, those are usually LCDs not HTD. This season with only two HTDs and in the same hotel is screwing us up and messing with the formula. I think Kait says "I HAD to take it this far to decide." Not sure if that changes your theory or not.

Anyway, I think Kait lives in the moment with each dude and loves their attention and affection, but at the end of the day, I don't think she could have said goodbye to Shawn, no matter what she thought she was doing or planning to do. Jmo.

This s/cap lets me know that at least when it came to Nick at FRC Kaitlyn felt bad about rejecting Nick.
Whatever her "Refreshing" ending is I will have to see  but I don't see this s/cap as refreshing.
I also think having Nick first and the 1 hour speculated wait was her trying to not mess her makeup too much and be upset too much when Shawn came -- trying to compose herself.

It would be so interesting to see how this season would have gone with sleuthing if there was no snapchatgate (and along with it the change in tone in blogs and SM activity by Kaitlyn -- those all go hand in hand to me).

I think her telling Shawn she made a mistake telling him he was the one, and saying that to Shawn's face could have easily led many to consider that that was her way of letting him know her feelings were changing. With spoiler and those things that went in hand once spoiler week came around it just seemed like it became 99% Shawn or no one but I don't think that was the case. I think when push came to shove she went with what she herself has said is her type and that Nick is not. jmo

Unfortunately I know the spoilers, but when I watch the body language I see Kaitlyn choosing Nick at this point. With Nick she lets him in close, but with Shawn she puts that pillow between them. I'm so curious to see what goes down in the last episode that is "so good" and "refreshing".

The scene to compare if you want to consider body position is two scenes from each MTP date. Both show Kaitlyn sitting next to Nick and then Shawn on a similar couch as they talk to each family.

In the scene with Kaitlyn and Nick, Kaitlyn is sitting on the end of the couch and it looks like her legs are crossed away from Nick, and she's leaning towards the side cushions of the couch and away from Nick. That reads as she is trying to distance herself from Nick - the legs crossing suggests a subconscious way of protecting her ... private area and the leaning away suggests an emotional distance.

In the scene with Kaitlyn and Shawn Kaitlin is sitting on the other side of Shawn but she is leaning towards him and is actually sort of hugging his arm as they talk to the family. There's also another scene at the dinner table with Kaitlyn and Shawn where each is sitting in a chair and each is leaning so far towards the other they almost look as though they are about to fall out of their chairs.

The thing to look for with body positions are that in general, you will position your body so that you lean closer to someone you like and away from someone you don't like - and it's not conscious on your part - it's just something you do without giving it any thought.

In this particular scene both are positioned with their bodies leaning towards each other; she's not exactly sitting in his lap but she sort of is - this is a position Ashley and JP often could be seen in on her season. But IMO trumping the body position is how Kaitlyn is using her hands to communicate with Shawn. Hands are very meaningful indicators of emotions and the two hands on the face with the tight pressure suggests both intimacy and intensity. To my eyes this particular scene and specifically Kaitlyn's use of her hands in that kiss with Shawn was one of the most telling scenes of the MTP dates.

When Juan Pablo was interviewed during his media rounds, he said his season was going to be "different" and that the audience would "love it and like the way it ends." The thing is, while the leads are making these statements, they have NO CLUE about how the whole season will be edited and what storyline the producers will focus on. They answer based on their experience while it was happening.

At this point, what we should expect from the finale should be based on what we have seen so far, i.e DRAMA and SHOCKING REVELATIONS, and not look forward to being "refreshed." If it happens, well, that will be good and maybe redeem the season, but...

I think that "refreshing" was used like "interesting" - it's one of those words that implied that she chose no one, to go along with the foiler, but it could work for anything, including her/Shawn getting over their issues and getting engaged.

But wasn't she wearing the same clothes when she was crying and sleuthed even in Season Promo (grey striped top and white jeans and the jewelry the same) as when HTD with Shawn? Why would she change into those clothes again just for after being with Nick? Makes no sense to wear those clothes she wore for Shawn's date again for Nick?

They often have them put the same clothes back on to do ITMs. Again, I could be wrong. I just have a hunch that the HTDs were shown out of order.

Very possible but it seems like Nick would get the first one since she spent time with Shawn most recently towards going to Utah. But who knows, definitely possible either way. I just think she was a confused mess overall. The season seems like a confused mess so that makes sense to me.
