 So true. He certainly is not above kissing and telling. Which is incidentally one of the things that many people don't like about him. Twice in a row he'll be crucified.
But somehow it seems to me as though the guys got to know some other way. Or indirectly(see my post above).

If that's what happened, Kait shouldn't be shocked really. Like Harrison said, history repeats itself.

I reallllllllly hope Shawn didn't get engaged because he felt pressured and is already looking for an escape route or is putting up with all this because he's in the bubble.

Somehow I read it as Shawn figured out that something went down between them and he spilled it to the other guys.
Perhaps Nick did the walk of shame the day after the 1on1 (or late enough after) and Shawn noticed it. Or production assisted in the big reveal ?

At the cocktail party that night at the Guinness Storehouse the six men proceed to woo Kaitlyn, especially one hopelessly romantic bachelor. The recipient of the group date rose and Kaitlyn share a romantic private concert by the hit Irish rock band The Cranberries, but simultaneously, a very agitated man confesses that he is having a hard time watching the Bachelorette share her attention and affection with the other guys. He has a meltdown and reveals an explosive secret that only he and Kaitlyn know.
Now, this jealous bachelor decides to take matters into his own hands and directly confront Kaitlyn about how he feels. A stunned Bachelorette automatically fears the worst – that he has decided to leave!

I'm guessing Kaitlyn spills the beans to Shawn and he tells his buddies. What a MESS.

But didn't that article say she told the frontrunners one by one, it doesn't match with that right ?

Oh but she has blinkers on when it comes to Nick. For that matter almost all leads refuse to see the bad in the contestant they have a blind connection with.
In the meantime, the viewers are throwing things at the TV.

I think she told the frontrunner (Shawn) when he comes to her hotel room wearing the burgundy shirt and he told the guys at the cocktail party. Thoughts?

Me too to be honest. There are two releases and they are subtly different. The ABC press release says:

Simultaneously, one of the men has a major meltdown and reveals an explosive secret only he and Kaitlyn shared, leading to a face-off that could derail the Bachelorette’s search for love.

and the episode description says TWO slightly different things. The first thing is the same as the ABC press release:

Simultaneously, one of the men has a major meltdown and reveals an explosive secret only he and Kaitlyn shared, leading to a face-off that could derail the Bachelorette’s search for love,

and the second thing says:

but simultaneously, a very agitated man confesses that he is having a hard time watching the Bachelorette share her attention and affection with the other guys. He has a meltdown and reveals an explosive secret that only he and Kaitlyn know.

They can be interpreted differently.

The article could be wrong. Plus it does not match with what abc has released now right ?

Sadly the bottom line appears to be though kaitlyn went on and on about honestly, it appears like it was not her that was honest with the group. She would have let it slide if the explosive man did not explode.

Which leads me back to believing it's Shawn.  We see him in her room having an emotional conversation, plus we can place him in her room a second time later on.  If he's the one that that reveals a secret, it's either something to do with using the word love or he, not Nick, is sex guy.  Or option 247 that we haven't thought of yet!

Why would he be angry and nearly leave if he was the sex guy !
This does not make sense.

I believe that the second description is correct and it's Shawn getting irritated about Kaitlyn giving the GDR to someone else after Kaitlyn told him she feels the same way as he. I would be irritated too. And i think he revealed that she responded positively to the IMFILWY.
Kaitlyn, to reassure him, does "premature activity" with him.

This is what happened i'm telling you.
