Yes, this has been speculated to be this way for weeks now. 
What RS said is nothing new or "shocking". This was talked about mid-late April on this forum. I know this for fact, because I went out on a ledge and said so. It's not new. The franchise did 3 vs 4 HTD's years ago during Byron's season.

I don't think anyone was claiming that it's new, just more confirmation that our speculations are probably closer to the truth than the info given to AL, which seems to follow the usual pattern.

Can someone give me the breakdown of previous season's eliminations? 25 -> 19, 19 -> 16, etc.

Jillian, Ali, Ashley were different but generally speaking it does go from 25-19, 19-16, 16-13, 13-11, 11-8, 8-6, 6-4, then 1 per epi after that.

Bachelor seasons seem to have more variance by 1 or 2 either way on each epi.

I hope its ok to post this here. I'm just trying to figure out the eliminations up to a certain point. Having a hard time keeping a lot of facts straight. Most of eliminations I relied on photos + some help from RS clues such as Clint leaving, etc. Will you guys look at this and think this make sense? I dont have photo proof of some of these guys which is why its confusing me, but I'm certain of the guys that we have photo proof of.

Episode 1: In LA. 25 down to 19.
Eliminated: Bradley, Ryan M, Brady, David, Shawn E, Cory S or Josh S

Episode 2: Still in LA, 19 down to 16ish: Ben H, Ben Z, Corey, Clint, Kupah, Daniel, Chris, Ian, Jared, JJ, Joe, Jonathan, Josh, Justin, Ryan B, Shawn, Tanner, Tony, Cory S or Josh S
Eliminated: I think the 3 eliminated are Kupah, Daniel, and Cory or Josh S (could be eliminated Episode 3)

Episode 3: Still in LA, 16 down to.. 15/14/13 (?): Ben H, Ben Z, Corey, Clint, Chris, Ian, Jared, JJ, Joe, Jonathan, Josh, Justin, Ryan B, Shawn, Tanner, Tony
Eliminated: Clint, but who else? Or is it 16 down to 15? Someone that I put in elimination for Episode 2 could have also made it to Episode 3 but eliminated so it might have been 2 eliminated in Episode 2 and 2 eliminated in Episode 3. Tony might have left this episode as we don't see him in NY, but he could have been seen in SA.

Episode 4: In NY. 15/14/13(?) down to 11. The guys that definitely made it to NY are: Ben H (gets a date in SA), Ben Z (rap date), Corey (rap date), Chris (group date- SQT), Ian (see him in SA), JJ (rap date), Jonathan (rap date), Josh A (see him in SA), Justin (rap date), Ryan B (rap date), Shawn (rap date), Tanner (rap date), Nick joins.  Jared, Joe, & Tony are unaccounted for (no proof of videos or photos NY, but if we have proof in SA, they have made it at least this far).  
Eliminated: Jonathan, Ryan B, Corey, Justin

Episode 5: In SA. 12 down to 9. The guys who made it are: Ben H (ID) Shawn (ID), Ian (saw SC, he lasted the longest of all the black guys according to RS), Josh A (saw a photo of GD), Tanner (saw an instagram video of GD), Nick (photo of him serenading K on GD). <---- Those are the photo proof. I know we had more SA photos but I couldnt dig around to find them. The remaining guys: Ben Z, Chris, Joe, JJ, Jared, and possibly Tony.
Eliminated: Ian, Josh A, JJ/Tanner/Tony (my guess is Tony, if he made it this far.. or Tanner)

At this point I'm guessing.

Episode 6: In Ireland. 9 down to 7.
Eliminated: 2 guys is my guess — my guess is both JJ and Tanner. Or if Tony made it to Ireland, my guess is that Tanner was eliminated in SA and JJ and Tony were gone. But I don’t think any of these guys advanced to Episode 7.  

Episode 7: In Ireland/Kerrytown. 7 down to 5

Episode 8: In Ireland Somewhere. 5 down to 4 or 3

Episode 9: HTD or FD? Or both? No idea.

The eliminated in Episode 7 & 8 have to be Ben Z, Joe, Jared at least because this is just guessing on my part that they did not get to F4.

I think the F3 are Ben H, Shawn and Nick.

Has anyone thought that maybe they had the guys meet Kaitlyn's parents first and then the hometown dates were only the final two? Could they have flown the final 3-5 to Vancover? It might make more sense.
