I guess I don't understand. I'm not watching the show yet, but the comments on here make it sound like it was obvious that Chris loved Becca. If that's what the average viewer thought, wouldn't it be pretty shocking that he picked Whitney?

Frankly, I'm surprised that they could find 25 women to even pretend to be interested in Cream of Wheat. The shocking season I never saw coming!

I didn't buy all the torment or that Chris was the least bit torn. I think it was just that he can't act and they wanted him to. Oh well, Becca's fine and I'm sure Whitney's fine also. I'm happy for them.

I'm not sure what I really believe, but I thought both Chris and Becca didn't look that sad when he let her go....hope it works out well for all of them!

Not when you want to be the next Bachelorette.  Heck, some are willing to even sleep with the lead for the role.

You must have heard me scream the exact same thing from here in De. I then added CS why don't you ask CH if he didn't have a wandering eye would you still be with your wife?

Thankfully for him, I think Whitney just won't care. She wants him and his family and that is all that matters. Even if the edit didn't make Whitney look like the backup plan, his answers and not just saying it would have been Whitney no matter what, he is doing her no favors. Whitney that is not a prize, unless it is the consolation prize.
