Bachelor 19 - Whitney Bischoff - Discussion #3

Although I was a Becca fan during Chris' season, my heart goes out to Whitney.

After all, Chris went on both Bach shows because he comes from a very small town and couldn't meet anyone viable who would be willing to live on a farm in a town with a population of Mayberry.

Whitney, on the other hand, had her head and heart in the process from the minute she saw Chris' home life and family during Andi's season. Chris has what Whitney had longed for most of her life: loving, supportive parents and siblings. Her intense ardor for Chris made me equal parts uneasy and sad. I wholeheartedly think she put on the rose-colored glasses during Andi's season and didn't take them off until, perhaps, DWTS.

Although my heart breaks for her (even if she was the one who ended things), I HOPE she took off the glasses sooner rather than later and saw that the Bachelor bubble mixed with her determination to not give up her dream of a big, loving family kept her from realizing Chris isn't the best man for her. I hope, through reading all the loving and supportive posts here, she comes to understand that in reality (no pun intended) SHE is the catch, not Chris.

Mark my words, she won't be single long. Some terrific guy will come along soon to

^^^Great post! It's wonderful to see so many Becca fans show the love to Whitney too.

After seeing how happy Becca was for Whitney when she described her date with Chris (mural date), it made me think that Becca is a girl's girl who would have a hard time falling for a guy if she thought her friend was more into him than she was.

I think they are both better without him and agree they'll find the right guy sooner than later. I bet those two women will be married (or in a solid, committed relationship) before he is, for sure!

Coming from a Becca fan I always thought that both of these woman were to classy for Chris. I am happy that Whitney saw the real Chris and living her life as she chooses.

Does anyone find it odd that the their tweets are always a couple of hours apart. He tweeted about his brother in law being his best friend about 2 hours after this.

Guess he is with his sister in Chicago.

I think the picture is from his neice's graduation party. It looks like the same outfit as in the other pictures he posted from that night. I do agree it's odd that they keep posting around the same time, but don't know what it means, if anything.

Did anyone notice that Whitney doesnt have photos of her and Chris except for pics from the publicity photos from the season?

I'm from Louisville and know some of her best friends. They had dinner with her when she was in town and she said it's going HORRIBLY. She said Chris only cares about fame and money, yet he won't even pay for her dinner. She said she doesn't think he's attracted to her and she just allows his behavior... Although she told her friends she's conflicted, she needs to dump his azz!

There was a recent interview with Chris during the pork expo in Iowa City. He did mention about the breakup and also a new reality show coming our way. The interview was done on the 5th of June and can be found at "livingthecountrylife.com"

As if anyone that talks to him really cares about farming....seriously? IMO he is deluding himself into a place where it will not end well for him. In a few short months no one will want him anywhere. And why does he always have to wear the same shirt?  
I think the only thing about this whole thing that makes me happy about him and Whitney breaking up is the fact that no matter where he goes now or what kind of interview he does - people will ALWAYS and forever ask him about her.    That's what people really want to know about. I wonder when he will learn that?

"Run it's course"????? The worst! This man needs a word coach. (The blue shirt! HOW ABOUT THE BROWN SHOES?) ! I really want to keep liking him. He needs rescuing! I so agree that he will forever be asked about her - which makes me happy too!

Unlike the afore comments, I don't think this relationship fizzled. I really think there was something that happened. I think when she came back from DWTS there was a reason, outside of her mom's anniversary and work. His interviews during that time, he was stumbling for words like he is now. I think there were some things that he could not recover from. (But I don't think she would talk about it)
I hope his sisters fix him.

Remember when he said he wasn't sure if or when she'd be back in LA and hopes she comes back?

Honestly, I have all brothers and if I saw one of them on film acting the way Chris did with Whitney during that DWTS after party film, they wouldn't like the call they were about to get from me. I hope he got an earful from one of his sisters.

For me, I really liked Chris during his season and thought he was one of the good ones who was honestly looking for love and a wife. The more I saw post show, the less good I saw. He had me fooled. If he really is working on another reality show, he an count me out as a viewer. Fool me once....

I guess I don't know how he can say the relationship ran it's course or fizzled when he appeared to put more effort into his spray tan than his relationship with Whit.
