RS Response: I think she was.

He is asked similar questions and he responds the same all along ... that he thinks Chris settled on Whitney fairly early on and she was always his first choice.

I hate to say this because it's him but IA with RS. I think it's kind of like in Sean's season where I could see him being smitten with Catherine earlier than even he knew it. Jade might have been the f2 instead of Becca but I think that's the extent to it. For me all the indecision is just like a lot of finales where they try to make you believe they're having trouble picking. That's not to say he didn't have strong feelings for Becca but I believe it was Whitney from early on. JMO

Yes, I think so too. And, maybe my above post was not clear but so does RS. It was the reader who was suggesting that others were ahead of Whitney and RS said nope. NOT that he is king and YES, he gets it wrong sometimes ... but that's what his sources are telling him this time ...

I agree. I just rewatched their first 1 on 1 date- the original episode version not the edited version bachtv has on youtube. It is interesting the parts they left out of the youtube version. ( many of Whitney's itms and the whole end as they are leaving and Chris gives her the rose) because it is from ep 3 I think they count on people forgetting about it. Makes it easier to build up the he's so conflicted scenario. Chris was lucky to have such a great f2.

Interesting post. I had to read it twice to be sure you were describing Chris and Whitney, not Sean and Catherine! If Chris ends up on DWTS with Whitney as his F1, they will be following precisely in Sean and Catherine's footsteps.

Now THAT would be an amazing coincidence! I just hope we get the televised wedding at the end, too. Who knows, maybe SeanCat will pass their Bachelor Royalty crown along to the new couple.

I would love it if Chris and Whitney turn out to be Sean and Cat 2.0. And not that anyone asked me, but I'd be fine with SeanCat sharing the crown with Chrisney rather than having to pass it along. Hugesmile

I'd love if Chris and Whit got married just to shut RS up about it. Considering he was so sure Josh and Andi would last I don't take any of that to heart. He just says it because he knows the track record of this show so if they break up he can be "I told you all along".

^^^ I read through them also and he also said they will not make it and won't get married. He has info to release but is waiting for after the ATFR. He said they will look happy at the ATFR for sure. ;)

That is my point though. He said the same stuff about EVERY Bachelor couple. It could be true and maybe they won't work but I am not going to lose hope just because what RS believes. I know what I've heard too. In the end if it doesn't work out, oh well but I am not going to give up.

He has more of a shot with Whitney then he ever did with Jade, Britt or Becca. IMO.
