Bachelor 19 - Chris Soules - Episode 9 - *Spoilers & Sleuthing* -

Am I the only one that thinks that Becca was probably going to be the one to go home, but Chris was too afraid to let her go after she just admitted she was a virgin, in fear of being labeled a major jerk for doing so?

So Kasha, are you saying there are red flags with both Becca and Whit?

No you are not alone. I had the same thought.

Of course there are red flags for both Becca and Whitney; after all that is the way TPTB play with our heads. JMHO.

I am saying this is what the edit is showing. 
My opinion is irrelevant, we all have them. 
This (the edit) is why we were shown in the previews last night, Chris' dad pointing out Chris' heart wants Becca, but Chris' mom was shown indicating Becca is not sure if she wants the relationship Chris wants. 
SO--edit showing red flag for Whitney: Does Chris' heart really want her or is she the "safe" pick?
red flag for Becca: is she as serious about wanting a relationship as Chris is? 
Chris has to reconcile heart and head. 
The previews to be shown after the next WTN episode will show us things to help clarify this, yet leave us in suspense and throw the audience a few nebulous scs of the FRC.

Me too. That may also be what the producers told him if they potentially wanted Kaitlyn as the Bachelorette.

The problem with TPTB always wanting to plant the doubt so we'll all be surprised by the final pick is that it that opens up exactly what people are talking about here. Is the final one really the first choice or is she/he a default pick?

That's how I viewed this too, Kasha.  We also heard a female voice (mom?) saying Chris is looking for a wife not a girlfriend.  More doubt for Becca as his F1.  Dad's comment could simply be that Becca's date was the first one and he hadn't seen Chris with Whitney yet.

I'm enjoying this season a lot more than the last few seasons and honestly never expected that I would. I do believe Chris wants to find his wife and start a family sooner rather than later.  He's done a good job handling the crazies, the lovely ones that weren't his type and also three very different ladies that appeal to him for different reasons.  

Now on to the cat fights at the WTN!

No, it crossed my mind too. I don't know what the usual RC line up is, I don't know if Becca in the middle is significant or not?? Didn't sound like their date ended on a good vibe, with her uncertainty about love and Arlington, I just don't see how that's going to change for her in a few days. Wasn't there some spoiler out there that said she wasn't that into Chris?

The one thing that bothers me about Chris and this season is it seems like he only wants to pick the woman most likely to marry him and pop out babies, not pick the one he loves the most. I know he loves Arlington, and the girls all knew this but my gosh, it is like Chris is not willing to compromise on anything!

At least looks that way now.

The fact that someone in Chris's family said he did this to "find a wife," is dam# scary imo!! I don't blame becca for questioning. I bet she never thought she would "like" the guy. I bet whitney is scared too, it showed on her face.

Chris wants them barefoot and pregnant like NOW. :shocked!:

Don't all the leads say they're there to find a husband/wife? Of course it sounds silly, "my husband is in this room." Who can forget JP telling Ash what he really thought when she said that to them.

I think the babies talk comes more from the girls. Has Chris talked a lot about wanting to be a dad stat?
