Okay, WELL- this is sort of a strange comparison, but I keep coming back to Chris & Des vs. Brooks & Des...
Des thought she wanted Brooks. Brooks breaks her heart.
I can see Becca in the Brooks role & breaking Chris' heart. Chris chooses Whitney. (SAME exact thing as what happened to Chris and Des...) Remember we all were like, "NO WAY!" Look at Chris & Des now...they had the last laugh.

I'm trying not to be so invested in the show. But I went into the show expecting to see a Chris & Whitney lovefest (such a cute date), and came out of it totally bewildered.

I just don't see Chris getting down on one knee in front of Becca and she accepting. If I were Chris, I would always be questioning if she was settling for me & looking at other guys because she probably wasn't ready and was pressured.

I was looking for something in RS's blog, and found this reader email and his answer:

After the whole Brooks thing, where he wasn’t really Final 1, do you now double and triple check even more, before announcing your spoilers, especially the Final 1 spoiler? If it were me, I think I’d be even a lot more cautious than I had been.

Comment: Ever since Des’ season, I haven’t gotten the ending wrong. I know what I did wrong that season. It won’t happen again. Yes, I check thoroughly. This season was no different. I haven’t wavered for 3 months because of the information I have. He’s engaged to Whitney.

I don't see this ending well for Whitney (but on the bright side, she looks like she has bounced back in the real world). If F2, I totally see her coming back to Chicago and realizing that she may need to keep her guard up a bit more and date a guy who wasn't dating 29 OTHER women!

I would think if the family didn't approve that Chris alone would have been on Ellen. They are under no obligaiion to appear as far as I know.
