Did I miss the part where Chris was supposed to talk about a contestant he still thinks about or was that just hype?

JMO. But thinking over the Andi interview, I really blame her parents. We are pretty sure they helped her financially after law school with at least her apartment, when while not as fancy there are places she could have safely lived in Atlanta on her salary. Then she goes on this show not once but twice and if speculation here is true was their lowest paid bachelorette, but after all that she quits her job and decides without any training or guidance that she is going into fashion. I am sure the stress of her not bringing any money was stressful and Josh thought he was getting a career woman not a full time dependent. At the same time I think Andi thought Josh was going to be making big money financial planning not selling Advocare, which you can make a lot of money doing but you work very hard for it to. I think Andi wanted the celebrity and fun and Josh wanted more settled down real life.
I think if Andi had more realistic ideas about life they would have had a better chance. I hope that her parents finally make her stand on her own two feet and take responsibility for her own life.
For both of them I hope they learned to really be honest and truly listen to the person they are with. All the physical attraction in the world won't make a deep love if the two people don't really want the same things in life. I think at most they had puppy love and lust, but when they got to really know each other they didn't have the same wants and goals to build on to make a strong and lasting love.

I think Andi was crying more because the world saw she failed than she was crying over Josh.

Andi seems to be a spoiled brat...all about her. THAT is a parenting issue. However, she is a grown woman.
IMO, Josh was impressed with Andi and her resume. That resume changed after they were together. Andi wanted a DADDY. Daddy is supposed to give you freedom and support you. Josh wanted an equal partner with "lawyer status".
They loved each other but with conditions....Reality was different than idealism.
Andi reminds me of women who go into law for power...because it's the thing to do if you want to bring attention to yourself. I know many, many women who have done what Andi did. Law was not their first choice, but it was for the power and prestige. Deep down they want to do something else. They also want a guy who adores them and they get to be little girls. I know this duality may seems strange.
I see this relationship as BOTH being unrealistic, and looking for a CAREER partner to be a second fiddle to their whims- a case of immaturity.

I finally seen the interview and props to Andi, it wasn't as I bad as I thought it would be. She made herself vulnerable, didn't put the blame on Josh and from twitter reactions it seems people have empathy towards her but that comes from people that like her. I was watching this with a friend of mine and all I heard is ''You see, she is misunderstood', '' Poor Andi'' bla , bla.
Anyway, after this interview I am now convinced Josh broke up with her. She was just too emotional, Andi is really not a great actress and I really think Josh broke her heart. She thought he was something else then reality sank in. He failed her expectations.
What came across is she still cares too much about what the public thinks. Another reason why I think he did the break up, he just couldn't fake it anymore and couldn't wait. I think if it was Andi that wanted to break up she would have waited a while after the red carpet. I finally think doing that interview it finally sank to her that it was truly over between them.
I knew the ''we will stay friends''was just crap. Not many people that have no kids with their exes stay friends. It happens but rare. Now she needs to find herself and pick up the pieces and decide what she truly wants.

She said they did not make each other better people people or were supportive of each other due to each dealing with their own ego issues.
I am not pointing a finger at either, only trying to point out that when you love someone--the above is your goal. The combination of the two of you makes you a better you and you not only support the other, you consider him/her your better half.
No good deed goes unpunished.

I haven't seen the episode yet but I am impressed with the fact that Andi admitted that their personalities weren't compatible and that they didn't inspire each other to be better people. That is exactly why I didn't think they would last as they are too similar.
I don't like hearing this is the greatest failure of her life. That sounds very over dramatic and immature IMO. Based on why she said they broke up, breaking up was the right and mature thing to do. Relationships and breakups teach so much about who you are as a person, what you want and need on another and what you need to do as a person to grow. I hope she realizes this and grows as a person she has as much to offer as any other person does in this world, to love someone unconditionally. She just needs to find her calming force.

If anyone's still thinking she & Josh will get back together, that interview should put it to rest. It seems like he did the dumping and no way will Andi ever let him back in. She also made it very clear why they didn't work and that they'd had trouble for a while prior to the breakup.
This wasn't about trying to save the relationship but to redeem Andi to the viewers. It probably helped more than I'd have thought. I guess I'm hard hearted but I thought the tears came too fast and too OTT. I wonder what the viewers would say if they saw her dancing on the counter and partying in Chicago? Hard to reconcile those visuals.

OK I'm going to Monday morning quarterback this thing.
IMO as a women with experience (translation: old) this relationship was on it's way to over the minute she slept with Nick in the fantasy suite. I can't see an alpha male like Josh or any other male being OK with that unless your name is Ed Swiderski.
The 2nd and 3rd mistakes IMO were Andi quitting her job and immediately moving in with Josh. IIRC most of the 5 relationships that ended in marriage were the ones that took their time bringing the relationship into the real world and went back to their jobs pretty quickly.
On to the interview, I felt nothing for her. All the snot nosed crying without her even asking for a tissue and a moment to pull herself together screamed calculated manipulation of the audience to me.
The long pauses and her very carefully chosen words leads me to wonder what kind of conversation she and Josh had pre-interview.
One last thought. Why do these couples want to compare their relationship with other relationships? I want to scream at them, Do your relationship and don't look at it as a failure if it's not on the same timeline as others. I guarantee they will not have a relationship like their parents, grandparents or friends. They will have the relationship that they want if they cherish, respect, support and nurture the connection and each other. It reminds me of Sarah Herron on BIP dismissing Robert after her conversation with Michelle and Lacy. Since when is it a bad thing NOT to sleep with a woman at the beginning of a relationship?
