I so hope she is really the F1 as I just see Chris opening up an exciting new chapter in her life and fulfill some of the wishes that she said as part of her ABC interview.

- Whit gets her wish of having a family and starting her own family.

- On the boat Whit told Chris that her mother was not so fortunate to stay home with kids (or something like that) so had to work and it forced her sister to grow up fast as big sis had to take care of Whit. This tells me Whit was probably ALWAYS intending or sure hoping(!) to put her career on hold to stay home with her kids.

- She will be marrying a wealthy man so paying the bills won't be quite as top of mind for her (i.e. to put in her interview response, to me, says the girl is realistic and responsible).

- And, as a self described hopeless romantic - who also said in her ABC interview video that she'd be excited to get her hands dirty ... I just think that she'd welcome the opportunity to learn a new profession and be part of a new lifestyle that just seems so darn conducive to family life.

FYI:  I can't match up this barn with the one that Chris/Cody were seen working at out on the Soule's property.  They do have a red barn but the configuration of the buildings is different.  Could this be a "promo" shot and not the actual barn?  

We want to make sure we know where Whitney receives the final rose.

ITA with Sharleen. They are a great match with a grown up love on a different level than the others.i too will be spending my time here over the next week. The finale can't come soon enough... bring it on!

Oh FYI Whit was not "in love" with Chris the moment she walked out of the limo. JMO She felt that she got to know him from the last season and liked what she saw. He is smart, successful, a gentleman, handsome and has a great sense of humor. A family man that wants to have kids and would make a wonderful dad. He is romantic, sensitive and honest. She liked him and wanted to get to know him and then through this process she fell in love. She is beautiful inside and out and Chris will be lucky to have her. JMO

Thank you for saying that on the bolded part... I sometimes feel that Whitney was one of the only ones who actually even thought about a plan about what would happen if she had fallen in love with the man from Iowa. She liked what she saw on Andi's season and thought, hey we might be good together. Apparently, doing that means she was in love with him. I actually respect her more because of this. She did not want to waste anyone's time. And I whole heartily believe her when she says, if she didn't feel it, or if it didn't feel right she would bow out.

You know what part I absolutely loved from her but gets overlooked because it was a sad moment? After that whole Brit being gone an hour and they were waiting for them. Her ITM where she said it hurts because I know I'm pure of heart and I know I would be a great wife to him and mother. You could just feel her emotions through the screen. Whitney has always been pure of heart. That's just my take.

And this is a little OT but does anyone else wonder what these girls are going to wear at FRC because they're going to be in the freezing cold? They usually wear dresses but they're going to be in a barn in the freezing cold. Are they going to be wearing coats and scarfs this time?

Think back to Courtney and Ben.  The girls said they were FREEZING.

The FRC was on November 22, right? Of course, people differ in their opinions of what is freezing, but since at this moment it's 14 degrees in Arlington, it was relatively balmy on 11/22. It was a high of 51, low of 32. I assume it would have been in the 40s at the time of the FRC. Not a great temperature like it usually is in the nice tropical locations, but I assume it wasn't as bad as Ben's FRC. I skipped that season, so I don't know the specifics. Hopefully Chris' barn had some kind of heating devices going.

I agree especially the bolded. She understands her mother had to deal with the cards life dealt her and had to be a working mom. But I see Whit as wanting to be the kind of mother she wished her mother had had the choice to be- a stay at home mom.

FYI - many barns in Iowa are heated. I know Chris' family isn't super into livestock, but these people spend major dollars to keep their animals happy and heated barns are the bare minimum in that respect

Whit and Chris should have beautiful children that should really appreciate their parents.

A point of interest from observing. Do any of you remember when Whitney came back from the date where she met his friends and saw for the first time, the mural that was painted of her and Chris.

If memory serves me correctly, Becca and a couple other girls were asking her how the date went. I recall she told of meeting his friends and of the mural that was painted with her and Chris. Don't think for a minute that they did not think she was getting an edge.

My speculation is that the girls know, the final 4, where they fit in. When it came down to the final 3, he and CH new he was going to keep Whitney. The Bachelor knew which girl was the one they wanted to keep for the Bachelorette. Thus the decision was made that Katlyn was the choice of the Bachelor for their next lead. So Becca was elevated to F2. There is so much manipulation on the part of the Bachelor that it is hard to distinguish truth from fiction. I don't think they care how many feelings are hurt or damaged in getting their way.

Here is a red barn on the Soule's property and the same property I believe where Andi's HTD with Chris was held when they were playing nighttime hide and seek (whatever it was).  

There are also some SC's where Cody and Chris were working out near an old red barn.
