You know when I ever feel down, I like reading what Sharleen wrote on her Flare blog this week. She just gets it. And I've felt exactly the same way all season.

It’s very telling that at the last several Rose Ceremonies Chris has always called Whitney’s name first. This is a kind gesture of not making her wait. Also, this week, it was made clear that Whitney’s was the one and only rose he was sure about. Chris has never waffled when it comes to Whitney. He seems to genuinely respect and admire her, and thus, she brings out a warm, mature side of him. Their relationship has always seemed on a different level than the other girls’, like they’ve both been completely confident in each other all along.

ITA with Sharleen. They are a great match with a grown up love on a different level than the others.i too will be spending my time here over the next week. The finale can't come soon enough... bring it on!

Oh FYI Whit was not "in love" with Chris the moment she walked out of the limo. JMO She felt that she got to know him from the last season and liked what she saw. He is smart, successful, a gentleman, handsome and has a great sense of humor. A family man that wants to have kids and would make a wonderful dad. He is romantic, sensitive and honest. She liked him and wanted to get to know him and then through this process she fell in love. She is beautiful inside and out and Chris will be lucky to have her. JMO

Thank you for saying that on the bolded part... I sometimes feel that Whitney was one of the only ones who actually even thought about a plan about what would happen if she had fallen in love with the man from Iowa. She liked what she saw on Andi's season and thought, hey we might be good together. Apparently, doing that means she was in love with him. I actually respect her more because of this. She did not want to waste anyone's time. And I whole heartily believe her when she says, if she didn't feel it, or if it didn't feel right she would bow out.

You know what part I absolutely loved from her but gets overlooked because it was a sad moment? After that whole Brit being gone an hour and they were waiting for them. Her ITM where she said it hurts because I know I'm pure of heart and I know I would be a great wife to him and mother. You could just feel her emotions through the screen. Whitney has always been pure of heart. That's just my take.

And this is a little OT but does anyone else wonder what these girls are going to wear at FRC because they're going to be in the freezing cold? They usually wear dresses but they're going to be in a barn in the freezing cold. Are they going to be wearing coats and scarfs this time?

This is why I mostly hang in this thread. Reading (and sometime re reading over and over) the many positive posts about all of the reasons that point to  Whitney as F1 help me keep the faith that our girl is F1.

Diana, we both posted the same Video clip from the WTA that confirmed Chris did make a comment to Kaitlyn about it be a "coin toss".  We knew by his confirmation with Chris H. that Whitney was getting a rose, so to me that coin toss was between Katilyn and Becca which is another reason to believe Whitney is F1.  And that is my 2 cents.  

Yeah I know. I know he's gonna choose Whitney I just hate hearing stuff like that.

It bothers me too but then I remind myself of Des' Chris. He and Des sure got the last laugh on the idea that he was the default pick.

Watching people on this show is not real life but I do think you can find out a great deal about these people by watching them. When Whit watched Andi's season Chris went pretty far in the process so there were many opportunities to observe him. She saw many qualities that she admired and wanted in someone as a life partner. The other thing she saw was his great family, how close they are with a playful fun side. She also saw how Chris treats his mom and sisters which I always think is an indication of how they will treat their wives.

If I had a single son would I want for him to date Britt....no.
If I had a single daughter would I want her to date Brian from Andi's season...yes.

Personalities come through from this show and that's what I think Whit saw in Chris before the show started. That is a great compliment to him. JMO

I don't know why I haven't found this thread before now, but I'm sure glad I found it in time.  The closer we get to the FRC, the more I'll want to stay here.

Every season I find it so curious that we all watch the same show, but we draw such different conclusions.  My curiosity makes me venture into other threads, but I'm glad to know there's a place where I can return to relative safety.

Like many others have said, I really like all F4 women this season.  It's not always true that my own personal favorite is also the one I see as best suited for the lead.  But Whitney seems to me to be perfect for Chris, and she's someone I could be friends with too.

RS said TPTB spent a bundle to spruce up the barn for FRC. They could have brought in heaters if it isn't already heated.
