Yeah I wondered why she chose the beach as opposed to another pic of her or her family or something. Because the pic she had up before was with she and Josh on the beach, now it's just the beach. I'm probably reading too much into it, but it was just interesting.

In the couple’s podcast, Jason reveals that he thought MurrDorf had a better shot than any other couple in the franchise’s history simply because of their proximity to each other. “It gave them a leg up,” he says, “because one of the biggest challenges in the infancy of your relationship is not living in the same city.”

He goes on to say that long distance leads to “not giving yourselves the opportunity to get to know each other.” Of course, as he points out, because they were in the same city, Andi and Josh apparently learned quicker than the average Bachelor couple that they weren’t meant to be.

Molly chimes in with her thoughts on why we were all caught off guard by the split, saying, “I think the reason that this break up shocked people more than the usual Bachelor breakup is because we just saw them [during the Bachelor 19 live Premiere] talking about how happy they were, talking about their upcoming wedding. Andi was rubbing his back at the premiere.. we just saw them happy together and then three days later there’s a statement out that they’ve broken up.” Amen, sistah friend. What was that about?

The mother of one also reveals that the breakup may have happened before the couple appeared on the red carpet that night. “I heard through some people, and I don’t know if this is true or not, that they were already broken up when they were at that premiere. So they were putting on a big fat show for us.”

Molly and Jason go on to speculate as to the reason why, if Andi and Josh were already broken up, they felt the need to put up a front. Molly says, “Yeah, like they got paid to be there so they’re like, ‘Let’s stick it out through this, then we’ll put our statement out the next day.’”

“Another theory that someone brought up,” Molly adds, “is maybe they told ABC and ABC said, ‘Please wait until after the premiere because this will steal Chris’s thunder.’ Who knows.”

Who knows indeed. Jason and Molly admit that neither of them have ever met the now-ex couple in person, and have no insider knowledge about the end of their relationship.

Well if that is the case why is she hiding and not putting herself out there for people to feel sorry for her? I guess we will just disagree on this.

WEll I for one am proud of Andi post breakup. She has handled herself with class. She has managed to remain respectful and thoughtful in her posts on SM while keeping a low profile throughout the whole process. Also IMHO, I do think that Andi loved Josh on the show an post show. She certainly didn't have that glow with any other cast member. And deep down I still think she loves Josh and vice versa.

Everyone is allowed to their own opinions here. The fact is that these two people are not together anymore. We don't know why, we only know that this is their choice.

Both people have moved forward very gracefully and with a lot of respect for the other. They are by far the nicest bachelor breakup I have ever seen.

CH is also a liar. Last week he had no idea anything was wrong at the premiere, now he realized something was off. I just love when he contradicts himself. Andi and Josh don't trust CH he is not your friend, he only wants what is best for the show.

I think Molly alluded to things that normally occur in the process of breaking up with the franchise. Do they know for sure? IDK. It is how the franchise works with timing.

Yeah, they didn't really 'reveal' anything we haven't already speculated. I listened to that podcast and they were basically guessing, I was surprised they sounded as stunned as they were because they know how this usually goes.

From what I've read about the reactions and from casual viewers, I think this is one of the more surprising breakups in recent years since Ali and Roberto.

IDK why Molly/Jason acted "surprised". I do think this couple needs to continue to keep their name out there in asso. w/the franchise. It's a huge part of their bread and butter. So maybe it was prudent.
I don't understand why MEandI would want to act any other way than "classy" or take a high road in their break up. It would not suit her well to continue to act as if she were a diva or spoiled brat. She needs to lose that imagine fast, it does not brand well.
As far as giving MEandI or Josh kudus for acting like an adult...no. That's simply what I would expect from any grown azz adult. They aren't the first couple that has broken up and acted mature. Acting like Vienna or Jake---not so much.

CH and the producers normally have an angle when/if they interview broken up couples. Sometimes its to pump them for future appearances on their show for either future leads or their spinoff BP/BIP etc., other times its to make one or other look bad for "TV gold". Occasionally the individuals participate for the chance to get their faces out there. I'm curious to see which of these options tptb and the couple choose.
Personally I would be good with no interview and not having to be subjected to her again. But thats just me. Particularly if she looses control and comes across like she did for Eric - cold and unfeeling or alternatively psycho like she did a few times during the show. Rolling Eyes

Jason and Molly said those things in their podcast (in those exact words). The article paraphrased what they said in that podcast so I don't think they're being sellouts bc theyre not actually talking to the magazines.
