It is definitely for ratings and viewers. I am very interested to see how they fill 3 full hours. Even if they interviewed every past contestant, there would be dead time.

Right. Seat fillers and interest grabbers. If Chris doesn't appeal to someone then maybe one of these other former contestants will. 95% of them won't say a word. Kinda expensive to fly in and house these also-rans (the 95%) but, hey, it's not my money.

They're using the first hour for past contestant stuff ie a red carpet, interviews and some funny blooper stuff from previous seasons

Regarding the bolded could Ch be saying this because he knows something that they are not telling us yet? Such as a televised wedding. I sure hope we get something tonite about that.

For a couple CH believes is "destined to end up together" then they should also be destined for a televised wedding, right? Let's hope so, fingers crossed.
